Sorry it was a bad stay.
Sorry to say we did not enjoy our stay. The ac went out the time we got there. They did not have another room to give us, so they gave us a desk fan. We really liked the location, but we could not get anyone to help us with our ac problem. And they did not do anything for us to make up for the none working ac. They did give us one extra day,but only after I got very upset with them for their lack of help.

Ok..
the rooms smelled like mildew. and the rooms had no hair dryer. glad my stay was only 1 night. the only positive thing was the desk clerk was hospital.

Great location for great price
Sea World was our main purpose for our stay, the hotel made it easy and convenient! For our short stay it met our expectations.

Not a good experience.
I went to San Diego for the weekend for my daughter softball tournament. After the three games we were so tired that all we wanted to do was rest. When we got to the hotel the A/C in the room was not working the room was humid and hot. I called the front to report the A/C, they said they would send someone to check it out, which they did. The maintenance guy said he would replace the A/C. After waiting for almost an hour nobody had showed up to replace it. I called the front desk told them that I was still waiting for the maintence guy to come an replace the A/C. The person in the front desk said that they didn't have another A/C unit so I told him to give me another room and he said he didn't have any rooms available. The person in the front desk said that the only thing he could do was to give me a refund. So I was left looking for another hotel late night. The only good thing was that the person in the front desk offer to help look for another hotel.

Nice hotel
This hotel was nice and a great deal. However DO NOT USE [...] They did not actually make our reservation and when we showed up to the hotel it was booked. [...]. Luickily the staff at this hotel was very nice and helped us out and we eventually got a room. It was nice and clean.

Great price for the location
The hotel parking is a little tight and can get packed in the evening. It isn't super fancy but it was clean and the staff was friendly.

Summer Break
Fun in San Diego
Had a great time in San Diego. Researched best deals & this hotel offered everything was looking for at a low price (wi-fi, free parking, close drive to beach, frig, continental breakfast (muffin & juice) & two beds). Best deal came from staying mid-week. Was sold out on Friday. Be kind to Staff:[...] at front desk had real attitude, not sure he'll be there much longer. Had problem w/wi-fi had to bring laptop to front desk in order for him to fix problem after a phone call & visit to front. Walls are kind of thin ie. noisy neighbors bothersome. Never went to the pool was at the beach every day & had a blast so much to do there.

Short drive from hotel
Jump on the 8fwy East Exit Civic and drive down to 5th & 6th Street that is were all the clubs are and lots of fun 10-2 during week no charge for most of them. Whiskey Girls & Henry's Pub most fun. Near beach check out Gringos for Mexican food & Happy hour everyday all day.

Over all it was an alright hotel they are not the biggest rooms but in a good locations good if your wanting to visit the beach, sea world, old town, and the Zoo . there was a mini refrigerator and a lot of restaurants near by they also give out an okay breakfast that will say you money !!! over all it was a good stay

Desert Beach Bums
Great location
Pefect location. An easy drive to the beach or to Old Town. Also close enough for a cheap taxi. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Ask for rooms over the pool so you can watch the fireworks from Sea World.
