This three-story property bills itself as the best value in San Diego hospitality. The Good Nite Inn is close to Sea World, but also within minutes of San Diego's other popular attractions including Old Town, Point Loma, Petco Park and the San Diego Zoo. TZ trip to San Diego July 2011

Good nite inn san diego
I took my wife to sea world, a few beaches, farmers market, midway museum and fishing. If the hotel had a pool, my wife would have been 100% happier, we dont swim in the ocean, shes too afraid of sharks and sea weed. This was our first trip together since we have been together.

Rent a car at Enterprise. they are cheap due to the compitition they have around that area. they also have really nice clean cars and very friendly employees. Two thumbs up to them. ( they also can drive you to the airport after you drop off your rental )

It's alright
It was alright, nothing special. It was clean on arrival but the cleaning lady came at an odd time so I had to ask her to come back after my shower (4PM) as she hadn't come the day before because I was napping.

SD for Business
Not so good nite sleep
The room was fine, but the bed was the worst hotel bed I have every slept on. The matters was worn out 5 years ago. Very lumpy and soft, I stayed for 8 nights and thought about leaving to another hotel, even with this one being prepaid for all nights.

Packing an Extra Roll of TP
What?!?! No toilet paper?!?!?
before completely running out of toilet paper, we asked the front desk if they could bring some to our room. their response: "you have to wait until morning when housekeeping arrives...i dont have any to give you". Housekeeping had NO TOILET PAPER to replenish...none, at all!!! The shipment did not come in until later that afternoon. Management should have went to Costco, Sam's Club or even to a Wal-Mart to serve the guests, but - NO. OH, AND I WILL SPEND MORE MONEY TO STAY AT A CLEANER HOTEL...YUCK!

Nice deal for a busy weekend
Went to San Diego to be at Petco Park to see weekend baseball games between the Atlanta Braves and the San Diego Padres. A fantastic ballpark, under great weather. The Good Nite Inn was just a short distance away from Petco, with lots of eating places near the Inn. Would do this type of trip again in the future.

Just a short drive from the Inn to Petco. However, it is best to drive out your route (Inn to Petco and back) in the day time, so as to become familiar with surroundings (if possible, we always do this when we go to an area that is new to us). This process serves us well: not getting lost makes the trip excellent!

Pictures don't reflect the environment
I had gone with a family member for a vacation. Our room was overlooking a strip club and the overall surroundings felt unsafe. There were a lot of men hanging around idle. I felt like I was staying in the barrio! Our first night there featured loud banging on our door which prompted me to call the reception desk and got us to wake up tired the next day. I paid good money to stay at this place and I felt I was ripped off. They had no place to get water unless I bought it from a vending machine. I would rate this place a C. Please go anywhere else and you would be better off.
