Great Value
My son and I needed a place to stay the night before an early morning fishing trip. Very close to charter boats, easy access, clean room, good bed. My only complaint would be the pillows, flat and old. We got a special deal and were very happy.

Clean, Affordable and Convenient!
The Inn was conveniently located, which made getting to local hotspots such as Downtown, Old Town, Gaslamp Quarters, and Hillcrest a breeze! The room was clean and well maintained! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would definitely stay there again on our next San Diego trip!

Great location and price
Good value for great access to Old Town San Diego. I actually had a job interview in the nearby area and this made it affordable (and more comfortable) to travel the night before.

Great location, great for family
Our family of four (12 and 8 years old kids plus mom and dad) went to Sea World San Diego during Spring Break 2013 and stayed at Good Nite Inn for 2 nights. The location of it is super for Sea World visit. The room is very clean and big. We had two queen beds which were quite comfortable, although they look old. The bathroom looks so new and clean and I believe it was remodeled recently. The water pressure of shower was quite low, so we had to take shower longer than usual. The tub is very very slippery, but the hotel provided a rubber pad, which we did not use, but I told everyone to be careful in shower. The environment seems safe and very quiet at night. But the wall is thin, so in the morning, I could hear neighbors taking shower and talking outside. Wifi was available for $4.95 per 24 hours, but we could only connect 2 devices. My daughter complained the videos were not downloaded smoothly in her ipad, but playing games was completely fine with the internet speed. There are many restaurants, grocery stores including a Target close by, taking less than 5 min to drive. General speaking, it was very pleasant to stay at Good Nite Inn. We had a great time there and will come back in the future.

nice and simple
The hotel was clean and comfortable! It was not located in the best part of town but we locked all of the locks nightly and had no incidents! A continental breakfast would have been really nice but only coffee was included! Not a fancy place but we just needed a safe place to stay--was conveniently located to Sea World and the San Diego Zoo!

below average
The hotel didn't seem to be located in the best place. Safety was a concern I had while staying there. Many of the people staying in the hotel seemed to keep doors open, stand outside smoking, and talking loudly till early morning hours. Also, there was insufficient parking and the spaces were way too narrow. I rented a car while in San Diego and the rental car ended up with three dings in it because of people parked beside me at the hotel.

Dont expect a "Good Night" Sleep Here!
The staff was pretty friendly, however the rooms where run down, the TV was from the early 80's and the beds where very used. Extremely, loud area for the hotel and the best restaurant within walking distance is Denny's. This hotel charges up the Ying-Yang for internet service and your lucky to get a cup of coffee in the morning.
