Di super fun night
Great location!!!
Well we ended up going for one night just for a quick get away.... And this was the prefect location. It was close to everything and love the club they had down stairs, but it was hard to find the door(if u go you'll get it). I'm a girl so having the mall a block away was great got a quick outfit for the night. Everything was in walking distance.

Lovely room; great decor; loved having microwave and frig in room. Very comfortable. convenient to convention center and buses. Some outside noise from the lively night life in the Gaslamp area at night. I'd stay there again.

Overpriced
Cosy place to get away for the weekend. We felt it was overpriced, but it is San Diego -it's all about location. We stayed in the Tennyson room, large rectangular rm had a vintage feel to it. 2 full bathrooms w/a couch to sit & watch TV. Bed was uncomfortable & walls are thin.

Gaslamp a "yes"!
I spent one week here. Got a good deal online. It was a "room assigned upon check in" however, and I was very worried that I would get something not so great. I was attending a convention, and the convention hotels were really too out of the ballpark expensive for me. I could not have been more pleased with the service and the room. I had a mini suite with a king sized bed, and it was very comfy. When I first arrived, the ac was messed up & would not come on- they sent someone up within 1 minute (not kidding) and it was promptly fixed. The cleaning staff did an outstanding job. Front desk staff excellent (esp "Merrie"). The fridge was a little on the "old" side, but for my purposes it was fine. Also- on the w/e the Gaslamp district is like Bourbon St. I was on 9th floor and could still hear revelry all night long. The weekdays nights were fine though.

San Diego
Perfectly located, great amenities and room.
Stayed for three nights and it was amazing. It's in a perfect spot to explore what San Diego's Gaslamp District has to offer - very close to any type of food craving. Can see the ocean from the rooftop terrace, and the ocean itself is only about a mile walk from the hotel. Parking at the hotel is a kind of expensive, but there are parking garages all over the district and if you don't mind walking a little, it's worth it. The blocks aren't big and the streets are easy to navigate. Would absolutely stay here again. Our room was perfect for a couple. Would be great for a an older couple or a young couple.
