Renovating

I think it is great that you are renovating but it would have been great if I knew that before I booked my trip. I think the hotel is in a great location & if it wasn't for all the noise & dust from the work being done, this would have been a great experience! I would not recommend anyone staying there while the work is being done. Can't wait to see what it looks like when complete though!

Great stay

The only problem I had was pulling up to the door and finding out upon arrival that PARKING was an additional $39.00 per day??? The front desk did make up for this un foreseen issue by upgrading my suite whit a AWESOME corner suite on the top floor which was great, the hotel also had a wonderful comp breakfast each day, every evening a reception with full bar and tapas, the hotel also has it's on Dunking Doughnuts and a BR 31 flavors. Overall a great experience.

A Romantic Getaway

I had a great stay. Very nice room and the staff was very friendly. I like the size of the room and we were on the 11th floor with a nice view of downtown. We enjoyed the free drinks during happy hour and the location was perfect. Only down fall is their parking. 39 dollars to park there and there isn't on street parking. Overall I was impress with the comfort and experience there.

Parking is 39 dollars per night. If you have guests, it's best to advice them to park few blocks down. But service was less then 5 minutes on bringing your car.

Only Stayed One Night

The hotel was easy to find, but the only public parking was on the street. It's not a bad area by any means, but it was not a place I was comfortable to park overnight and all the next day. So I used valet. They did not tell me (on the site or in person) that the valet charge was $39 a NIGHT! Holy Cats! That is ridiculous! But they almost made it feel like you didn't have another option. That was shocking and disappointing! The room I received seem to be a handicapped room, it was roomy, though a bit worn in places. There was some marred facing on the bathroom cabinets, The bed was clean and comfy. The AC seemed to go on and off frequently so sometimes it woke me up! Overall, it is a good location, breakfast was decent and the property was nice.

Not too bad

Good location. The line for breakfast buffet and night reservation was too long. Did not attempt to wait in line. Overall, decent stay. Parking cost 39 and only valet.

Fantastic birthday getaway

Aside from the mattress and not having parking available, this hotel was in the perfect location and the free breakfast was awesome!

Nice location for a guys weekend getaway

As usual, the Embassy Suites puts on a good show. When you include the managers reception and the breakfast, this hotel is worth the money if you are in need of a suite. On this trip there were three guys, all who needed a separate bed. I ended up on the couch and enjoyed it. The front desk delivered a comforter and I slept comfortably on the couch. My friends said the beds were comfy also. PRO's- Location on the bay, Walking distance to Seaport Village and the Midway museum, good service, free alcohol in the evening, free full breakfast (even made to order omelets if you desire), and a combination Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts attached to the hotel. CON's- Street parking is almost non-existent, Hotel Valet Parking is $40 a night (it does have in and out privileges, but there is also a customary tip each time you retrieve and park.)
