good location but some noise
The room was comfortable and clean. Staff was nice. The elevator made lots of noise near my room. It was also noisy from outside, but not from other rooms. Location is good.

Excellent
It was my first trip to San Diego to see my boyfriend that was stationed at Camp Pendleton. They have free shuttle service from the airport which was great. I got there early in the morning and check in was not until 4. The guy at the desk was nice enough to upgrade my room to the business wing so that I did not have to wait for so many hours. The hotels location is also close to all the local attractions. Overall its a pretty good hotel for its price. I recommend getting a room in the sunset wing. I loved my stay there and am looking forward to my next trip :)

Great bang for your buck in San Diego
I stayed at this Days Hotel for a weekend get away by myself. The location is nice. It's somewhat equal distant from the airport, Mission beach, Pacific beach and the Gaslamp district. Be aware though, cab rides can get expensive. I spent an avg of 25 per ride not including tip. The staff was very friendly and helpful if I needed to call a cab or give me advice on local attractions and restaurants. The reason for the 3 stars is that it was still a motel experience: hearing other guests outside, room was next to the elevator, wall were a little permeable to sound than I would like. But if you are looking for a budget place that is clean, has a nice location, and great staff, this place is worth looking in to.

Winter Vacation
No breakfast provided. Shower had no shelf to set soap during shower. The room had no real furniture. Had to read outside in Hall or on bed. The extra bed should be removed and some comfortable furniture provided. Stated as a Business class room, not like any other I stayed at. Really was not conducive to a business stay.

Overall excellent
the place is mostly great, except for the plumbing noise. The plumbing can get a bit loud, so you must close the bathroom door to keep the noise level down. The pool and jacuzzi are great, and make this hotel a good deal!

Check out Kensington district of San Diego - (Adams streets) for cool neighborhood. Also, La Jolla is always great to hang out in. Clean air, great art museum, great beach, and great place to go kayaking.

LadyC's Thanksgiving Stay
The pictures were a little deceiving. The stay was average. For $90+ a night I expected more. The cleaning staff was awesome. Front desk staff not so much. As for recommending this hotel, humm - depends on what they are looking for.
