everything went perfectly; only downside was unexpected $18 dollar a day parking fee...I chose to park in public parking area near the beach and walk back and forth to the hotel; good exercise, and not all that far

A Great Surprise!
Everything was way beyond my expectations. The room was big, very clean, had nice decor, and the bed and linens were very comfortable. I went swimming and used the hot tub, both were very nice. I even enjoyed the restaurant "Bunz," where I had the best hamburer and fries since ??? I don't know when, I usually skip those... Very nice, I'll be back.

I was pleasantly surprised
Days Hotel is of course a large Days Inn. I stay in San Diego in The Hotel circle a couple times a year - I choose my hotel by price and this is the 4th hotel I've stayed in - the first time here last week. It's a great buy - large room, decent bath products, a great place for burgers attached to the hotel and a shuttle to the main sites in San Diego. The shuttle to Sea World will save a family $14.00 - so you might want to use it even if you have a car. the staff is great - the rooms clean and free wireless internet as well as the ability to print out a boarding pass at no charge - I'll be back!

Not too bad!
Hotel was in a decent location, with the exception there isn't a grocery store within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and relaxing, tv and room stereo/alarm clock could be updated to give it a more at home feel. Pool and hot tub was nice as well as it was set back from the rooms so it made it a little more private! Perfect location if going out into Hillcrest, as it is only 2 miles away! Will stay again if I am in the area.

Served it's purpose
it was nice that the room had a mini fridge and microwave. It wasn't much to look at from the outside but it was definitely doable. Best part about the place is the free shuttle service! I was excited about the free continental breakfast but never made it downstairs in time to check it out. Only have two complaints first is the elevator smelled yucky because the carpet in it was filthy! Second our sink was backed up. I had to brush my teeth using the bath tub because the sink was completely filled with water and took forever to drain, although it was easily fixed the next day by the maintenance guy. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

very pleased...
rate was great, location fine, and service very good. i have had a horrible time with this chain's lower level of accomodation, (I was yelled at by an employee!), and had $15 refunded by the corporation, who did not replace the franchised owner, nor address the problem in any way. So I was hesitant, but pleasantly surprised.
