Drama free traveling
ideal for family get away
If you are looking for value for money...this would be it. Especially for those families that are looking to spend most of their time away from the hotel site seeing around San Diego.

Be sure to check the stores on fashion valley road...Saks 5th avenue outlet. If you forgot something essential....there's a target pretty close to the hotel

Dirty carpets, huge gaps in door jams
We stayed in this hotel because of the $45 a night promo (usually up to $100) and the easy access to transit (quick access to busses and green line). Unfortunately, every room opens to balconies overlooking the parking lots and there are up to one inch gaps between the door and the frame. Every single noise can be heard including what seemed to be elephants in the room upstairs. The doors slam shut on their own so you have to remember to hold them back when you enter and leave your room. Both of these situations could be easily and cheaply fixed. Stay at the hotel next door - they have a free shuttle to all major attractions. Days Hotel stopped their shuttle service last summer for everyone except those attenting military events but still parks two vans out front and did not pull the photos from any websites. We had to pay $25 for a taxi to the airport at 4:45am. Very inconvenient and annoying. We will not stay here again.

Needs a foundation
Walls, floors and patio to entrance need a makeover. Can hear everyone, can feel everything and can smell everything...mostly stale odors. Would not stay at this hotel again. Too many choices in the area.
