Gets the job done in Hotel Circle
While there's a lot of competition in Hotel Circle, Days Hotel is cozy and accommodating and for the right price. If free breakfast and a fitness room were included, I wouldn't consider staying elsewhere. The pool is nice and rooms are pretty new.

Clean hotel and friendly staff!
This hotel was "just right". Clean. No smells. Friendly staff. And just minutes to everything we wanted to see ~ La Jolla Cove, Coronado Island, Sea World, Gaslamp Quarters, and even the San Diego Safari Park was less than 30 minutes away. All around, a great value :-)

For shopping, head to Ocean Beach. Tons of free parking, tons of cool restaurants, and the shopping is splendidly inexpensive and twice the fun compared to the other local spots.

Nice for the value
The staff was very friendly. The room was decent, clean, but had a very strong smokey/mildewy odor. I needed a cheap place close to sea world for a single night and this was probably about as good as it gets.

Not bad for the price
Well for the price that i paid $75, it's not that bad. Based on the review and the pictures i thought, it will look much nicer. The outside of the place looks really old, looks like a motel 6. Beside the room cleanliness, i have no other positive about this place. You can hear the next door neighbor if they were loud. I rather pay another $50 and stay at Marriott next to this place. 2.5 stars for me and i wouldn't come back to this place.

Great Value!
We stayed for 3 nights. Very pleasant stay. Staff extremely friendly. Quick check in and check out process. The room is not fancy but very clean. I've seen other reviews complaining about the noise level, but we never noticed a problem with it. Location is great! Would definitely stay again.

Quick Trip to SD
I was here for three days. For a great price, this hotel was a great find. Comfortable beds, and great location. A few drawbacks. First, the sink is located outside the bathroom in the main room; I prefer otherwise. Second, when I went to make coffee upon arriving, there was a used coffee filter inside the machine that had not been replaced. Other than that I had an enjoyable experience, and would recommend it to somebody in town for a few days who is watching their budget.

Easter Break 2013
My sister's family joined us for Easter break and we did the typical San Diego venues...zoo, Animal Park, and Sea World. The hotel was quite convenient to all of the destinations. Suggestion to the hotel - we assume they updated their heating/cooling system and installed thermostat controls. Recommend that they put a notice on the old unit that the thermostat is now located on the wall. It would have saved a trip from maintenance.

Nice hotel
The hotel was close to interstate highways so easy to get around as long as you have some form of transportation (we used a GPS for directions). I believe the hotel had a shuttle service but we did not use it. The room was clean and quiet, even during spring break. The pool was very nice, and so was the hot tub. There were quite a few kids in the pool, but they were not poorly behaved--just having a great time. Adults only in the hot tub. Nice value for a hotel at this price. I would recommend it to those looking for a hotel that is not downtown but close to many attractions.
