Good Room, Tight Parking
The room was okay. It looked like it had been recently remodeled. The parking spaces are very small. I checked in late, so there were only a few spots left, ones with an SUV on either side barely fitting into their spaces. Less desperate people had passed them on for spaces that allowed you to open the door. Once parked, I had to open the gate with my key and crawl through to the back of the car to get out of it. Getting in was no easier.

DECENT HOTEL
the hotel was pretty decent for the price i paid, it was actually clean n the beddings were nice n comfortable. the only thing was i couldnt be accomodated as requested when i asked for early check in. it seems the ladies werent as helpful to find some thing for me, whereas when i checked out another guest was there for an early check in as she requested n the male staff was eager to help her out once he was done with us who just checked out. i wished the ladies would be more willing to assist me with my request.

Great value for money
Clean rooms, sheets. We stayed here for multiple days & got woken up by the cleaning lady every morning at about 8:30am asking if we were checking out or staying inspite our 'do not disturb' sign (although the check out time was 12 & there was no complimentary breakfast to wake up for :p ). This was the only annoying thing. Rest of the stay was pretty great value for money. This place is very well located to tourist attractions.

Very Mad Dad
BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS!
The room was terrible. The sheets were staying with something that you can only imagine. On both beds. We had the sheets changed out. The blankets looked like they were eaten by rats. That's why we noticed sheets on top and under the blankets. The room was very musty the carpets was wet, there was mold and mildew on the carpet and under the air-conditioner which was dripping water. I had to put a bucket under it . I requested a new room but they were sold out. So we had to rough it out that night. I was so mad that we had to stay there the night with my family and my baby of five months. I will never stay there again!

PERFECT FAMILY VACATION!!!!
So my wife and 2 daughters went to SD this past weekend to celebrate our youngest b day by taking her to Sea world and The SD Zoo so we booked our room at Days Hotel. Couldn't be happier with the hotel/ room. The hotel is right off the freeway easy to find. It was about 10 minutes away from Sea World, Old Town was right up the street, and about 15-20 mins from the zoo. The room was very clean from the day we got there, until the day we checked out. We were all very happy with the pool and jacuzzi area. Will definitely book here again whenever we decide to go back:)

Nice Hotel
This the second time I have stayed here. Have had a good experience both times. The carpeting looked as if it could be cleaned but the room was clean and the bed very comfortable. My stay both times I experienced a late cleaning of the room causing me to find someplace else to hangout which I did by the pool. The location is great - walked up the hill to eat - the Hillcrest area has a good selection of places to eat. The trolly line is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and goes downtown if there is some activity you want to got to there. I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for a week and was not overly impressed by anything. The room was clean, the pool area was clean but that's about it. We flew in really early and they let us check in early which was great, but every other person in the lobby was yelling and mad about charges they were seeing on their bills. We asked about their complementary shuttle and were told they're getting rid of it, starting that day. Throughout the week we saw it running so we asked again and a different staff member told us we could use it. Most of the lobby staff doesn't seem like they want to be there and they were useless when it came to asking how to get places. We were there as tourists and would've expected the lobby employees to be able to give us some sort of direction on how to get to big attractions. Instead we were told it's a 7 minute walk to the transit center and we could figure it out from there (keep in mind there was a bus stop directly in front of the hotel that would've taken us to the center instead of walking in 90 degree heat) Overall - a fine place to sleep but don't expect anything from the staff in terms of helpfulness.
