Luxury Mission Bay hotel on private peninsula with seal pool
Situated on its own 14-acre peninsula in Mission Bay, the Bahia Resort Hotel exudes privacy. The hotel dates back to the 1950s. Today it features a tropical garden and a seal pool with two seals on loan from the San Diego Zoological Society. The hotel also owns and operates the Bahia Bell, an authentic 19th-century sternwheeler. All guests receive complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. Older romantics
Beautiful setting
The people at the Bahia were helpful and positive to work with whenever we talked with them.The view from our room was absolutely fabulous. It was delightful to have an immediately accessible beach that was available from every room. It was a great choice for our stay and we would visit there again.

Go to the seal reserve that is on the ocean side just up the road in La Jolla. It is amazing

wonderful relaxing getaway
love the beaches...hotel is very resort friendly, responds to help requests promptly. rooms are cozy, beds comfy, we enjoyed the quiet that we needed for our mini vacation. the seals add an extra touch. convinient location, right on the bay and just a few blocks from the ocean.

great setting
friendly staff, beautiful setting on the bay. older buildings, basic rooms are rather small, but we arrived late and "had" to moved into a suite - sweet!

Great Location , Un Believable View
Restaurant expensive and very limited menu. Hotel grounds were very nice. Rooms were comfortable but could have been cleaner. Parking lot hard to navigate. Staff very helpful and friendly. All in all I would stay there again. Location is tops. It made for a go starting point to our trip.

Enjoyed Our Stay!!
My husband & I had a wonderful time. The garden view room was perfect. quiet peaceful. We loved the the night cruise of the bay! We would love to come back!

Jersey Shore
This has to be the loudest Hotel I have ever stayed in. We requested a garden level room at the time of booking and they ended up putting us on the 3rd floor. Turns out the 4th floor is where they hold wedding receptions. Not only Friday Night but Saturday and Sunday night as well. Sunday was the worst with Techno music and yelling and screaming all over the grounds all night. I swear I felt like I was in an episode of Jersey Shore. I will not be staying here again. The management did comp a few charges to the room but that was a little late. upon check in the room was ok except for aome big dark hairs left in the sink
