Ok place to stay !!!
This Hotel was close to a convention I was attending at another Hotel nearby (100.00 + a night !! ) It seemed that this facility has been owned by other chains in the past. It shows its age. AC worked great. Other than that, it was a good place to stay for the price with no drama.

First impression: cheaped out. Bathroom had but two towels, two washcloths and a floor mat. The bath tub actually had peeling plastic veneer in the floor of the tub, and the drain would not hold water for a bath. When we discovered a roach in the sink and another dead one in one of the storage areas, we requested a room change. That room had a slight crack in the bottom of the tub, but the drain held and a bath was possible. We had to request extra towels twice, and the staff seemed reluctant to do so. When they were collected during maid service, only two towels were distributed. Towels do not go far with a pool and hot tub. The hot tub water felt slimey although a strong smell of Chlorine permeated the air around it. The "business area" in the lobby had a non-functional printer, ripped seats and a junky appearance. It was my first and last experience in a Motel 6!

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
A short drive to Old Sacramento was worthwhile, and both San Francisco and Lake Tahoe were about a two-hour drive. If you are going to visit San Francisco, book a hotel in a nearby town about 1/2 hour drive to save considerably, as hotels in San Fran can be more expensive. San Fran and Lake Tahoe were definitely worth the drive and DON'T MISS NAPPA VALLEY for some of the most beautiful sights around!

Okay Hotel - Bad Customer Service
The hotel was somewhat nice, and it was very clean. Also, I felt very safe while at the hotel. The bed was very uncomfortable, however. There were none of the little things that most expect, e.g., shampoo, iron, etc. And, the staff was unfriendly and not really very helpful.

Convenient, Great Price
I did not get to stay at the hotel during the day as I was in the area for a funeral. I did appreciate the convenience to the airport and having a nice place to spend the night.

We are very unhappy with you "ORBITZ"
You at Orbitz didnot do your job --- We reserved this motel thru you, weeks in advance. We got confirmation from you, yet when we arrived at the motel they had no confirmation from you, therefore we lost 2 hours of our time waiting to get confirmation from you so we can check into our room. Never again --- Unless?

Cheap and dirty. It's good for a baller on a budget looking for a quick one. Would not recommend for families.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Watch out for a deceptive come-on online called "Reservation Rewards" - it looks good until you find you've signed up for a monthly charge after they've got your credit card number. What a hassle and what a hassle to cancel!! Avoid it like the plague!
