I took the train to Sacramento to watch a baseball game. The hotel was 3/4 mile from the ballpark, via a lovely riverside walk, and close to the Old Town. If you stay here, try and get a riverside room. The other side overlooks I-5. Good continental breakfast.

nice clean la quinta
nice and clean, as always for La Quinta chain. The breakfast is not as good as the one we had before, but good enough.

Just OK
Right off the freeway which was great. Room had horrible stench of smoke. Air conditioning too cold. When turned up only 4 degrees heat went on and burning smell filled room. Breakfast was minimal.

Good Location
Great location and close to the capital. Room was ok but will probably book again. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was a nice touch.

very disappointing hotel
My husband is in the CHP academy and we were planning on using this hotel in the future, but do to the floor in the hotel room and the bed being soaked with water and being transfered to a smaller noisier room I dont think we will use them again.

Good price better service
We stayed here for one night as it was close to the airport and had shuttle service. They were very attentive both late in the evening and the next morning.
