Delta King Hotel

I loved the room, it was cozy. I did not like that it was nosiey all night long. Staff were walking back and forth from the lobby to the dinning area being very nosiey. The people who were in the room next to us were banging on something until 2:30 A.M., and you could hear the people above us walking around.

Small rooms, smaller beds but a fun place to stay.

Property has a nice location right next to Old Town Sacramento. The restaurant and bar are excellent. Great service by wait staff and front desk. The sleeping rooms are beautifully done, however cleanliness may need to be better assessed. FYI: Get there early to get free street parking for an overnight versus the $18 valet service.

I booked a room and when arriving was told ''we received a free upgrade''...the room was so close to the lobby, our bed should have been in it, not the upgrade we thought of. When complaining to the staff it went threw one ear and out the other Its too bad that this beautiful ship has fallen victim to bad guest care, and over charging for a has been. P.S- Room was dirty, found several unmentionables, management never acknowledged this complaint...my guess, its normal for them.

The hotel is quirky to say the least. The boat lists to the right side so much so that it’s a bit of a tripping hazard. When we got to our room the toilet was dirty and I don’t mean that it was not clean, I mean that someone had absolutely DESTOYED it and didn’t even flush, because you have to hold the handle down for about a minute to get it to work. This was missed by the maid service, I am not sure how, and when we called to complain, they explained to us that the maid service was not available and sent someone else to take care of the problem but by then we had gotten most of it to go down. The shower door would not stay closed and the cold water handle fell off. When you went to adjust the shower head, the entire fixture pulled out of the wall. Lastly, they offer a turn down service, or at least that is what they claim. The instructions were that if you wanted turndown service, do nothing, otherwise leave the “Do not disturb” sign on the door and they would pass you by. We did not leave the sign on the door and we did not get turndown service. I spent about $220 to look at someone’s excrement, reassemble plumbing, get lied too and finally trip around an extremely out-of-level surface and I am seriously unhappy about it.

It was very nice and interesting to stay on that hotel/boat. we really enjoy it

Great place short walk from downtown right in the heart of oldtown sac. Wife really loved it.

The room and staff were delightful! Service in the restaurant/bar was sketchy . . . Had a great waiter for lunch/ dinner, not so much. The front desk even had a loaner charger for my cell phone - yippee! Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful trip from beginning to end. The staff were marvelous and checked us in promptly. We enjoyed a fabulous room overlooking the Sacramento River. The bed was very comfortable... I did a lot of traveling and this bed ranks at the top for comfort level. Dinner and breakfast were deliciously served a few rooms down. My five year old son enjoyed many things but the top of his list were: Railroad trains/tracks/caboose/museum, river Otters, Turtles, Bridges going up/sideways and watching the river/boats. I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very pleasant and fun. We enjoyed the atmosphere of being on a steamboat. It was nicely located in Sacramento. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience.
