Average. Too smokers friendly. Noisy neighbors.
The first thing I disliked is that we were given a smocking room. I don't know how people can live in such room. Though, the staff changed the room. Second, our neighbors were really noisy at night. So, I wish I booked Americas Best Value Inn closer to the city center.

Friday night in Sacramento...
Check in was great, room looked and smelled good. Was traveling with a small dog. I pulled back the top cover and found a long hair. Also the hair dryer was greasy and had hair stuck to it. Room was nicely furnished and otherwise seemed clean. Parking lot and neighborhood seemed a little sketchy (we were really close to the freeway). I was on the bottom floor and I could hear the floor (bed?) squeak with every step. Overall the room and amenities were nice. I'd consider staying again, just want a 2nd floor room.

Family Emergency
Due to technical problems with the flight, I was not able to arrive for the first night. The front desk guy was great when I called to let them know and there were no problems checking in the next morning. It is convenient to the interstate and quiet at night. The only thing that was off, was that I was in a non-smoking wing and every time I went into the hall, the pungent odor of smoke was there. BUT none in my room, so I slept well. For those that like lots of pillows ... there are lots of pillows.

Affordable Business Trip
My overall experience was great. Great accommodations, cleanliness, and staff. I have never had both a refrigerator and a microwave in rooms I have paid much more for. My only complaints were that the immediate surroundings had a lot of homeless people, though I never felt like I was in any kind of danger. Also, there was much confusion about the airport shuttle. At first I was told that there was a $10 fee both from and back to the airport. That turned out not to be true. The shuttle service was free. Early in the morning of my departure date, I called to make an appointment for the shuttle back to the airport. I was told that the hotel policy "asked that you call a couple of hours before" to set up an appointment. As this was several hours before my check out and departure, I asked how many hours constituted "couple." Staff said "24." I got to the airport okay but had to arrive at the airport "a few" hours before my flight departed. Overall, a good experience and I would stay there again.

Great Customer Service
My business took me to Modesto instead of Sacramento. The people at Days in were very helpful and understanding when I would not be staying at their Hotel. A refund was given for my room, and warm wishes sent for my trip and hopes to stay with them when I returned on my next trip to Sacramento. A-1 customer service rating. Thanks for making my trip better.
