Really close to the beach
It was a good one being close to the beach made it easier to just walk to but because of some laws the pool couldn't be used! Also city law is no one under 21 can rent a hotel.

Great Price
This hotel is a steal for its price and location you are just a stroll from beautiful pismo beach, however this is not the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in I would not recommend staying here for more than just a night or two. Excellent price and location but missing that comfort aspect.

We needed a place to stay and this was perfect. It is about 1 block away from the beach, you do have an ocean view but there are a couple of hotels between your room and the ocean. Breakfast is simple, muffins and toast with juice and coffee. There is a great cinnamon roll place right around the corner.

Busy Teacher Mom
Never Again!!
The office staff was not friendly at all. They proceeded to charge my credit card for my two day stay after I had already paid several months before.

Can't get much closer to the beach
We weren't expecting much, so there were no disappointments. We loved how close it is to the beach. I woke up hearing the sound of waves in the morning, and although you can't see the beach from the room, you can definitely feel the proximity to the ocean. Neat little tidy room. It's good if it's just a place to sleep in.

Right off the main drag.....
For the price and the location it was a really good value. Its not a place you wanna stay at if you are a "hotel dweller". Great place to stay if you will be out and doing things tho. Walking distance to the pier, beach and many of the great restaurants in Pismo. Mo's BBQ, Brads, Harrys Bar, Splash are literally a half block away. I would recommend it if you are not real picky about the amenities. Continental breakfast in the am. We didn't use the heated indoor pool but it looked clean and well maintained. There is one soft drink vending machine and one ice station. No elevator so if mobility is an issue request downstairs. Old style TV with basic cable, one ceiling fan and the water pressure in shower was good.

Best thing about the place is location to the pier and the main drag at Pismo. If u come prepared you can park your car and forget about it til you leave!

Good for the price and great location. Rooms are a bit outdated but only a hop skip and jump away from pier, Harry's, and food ¦~)

clam festival
I was there for the clam festival so parking was hard to find but the Ocean Sea Inn is in the perfect location. We walked everywhere. The room was a bit small. The staff was friendly and helpful.
