Standard hotel away from the main shopping area
I got in late at night - but it was the quickest check-in I have ever experienced. No fumbling. While I was there I did ask about the Rose Bowl and how that usually works and the staff member gave me some good tips. I was literally there just to sleep. The room was clean and had everything I needed - pretty standard. Bed was comfortable and they had a good selection of pillows on my king size bed. TV worked well. I slept it out the next day so did not experience breakfast. I will say that if you want to be in the middle of the action - this is not the place for you. But if you don't mind driving down the street to the main shopping area, this is perfectly fine for that.

visiting the LA zoo
my family an I stayed for one night. We rented two rooms and the place was clean,neat and so quiet. Coming from a long driving trip the only thing we needed was to rest, and we got it. Continental breakfast was good so for the price we paid it worth. Front desk persons were nice and took care of our necesities.

Average place, nothing exciting. The wifi quit and the staff didn't bother to bring it up or fix the issue. Which was a problem.

RUN AWAY
I would not recommend this hotel, to my worst enemy. At check in- you are given a notice, indicating that there, not responsible for any stolen valuables.The location is in a deserted area in Pasadena.There was a promotion offered stay 3 nights, get the fourth night free, when I mentioned the promotion to the clerk, he said he was unaware and there are no mangers present for the weekend. Management and staff wasn't present to discuss why,the computer in the lobby wasn't working. And if you just happen to get the computer to work after 5 pages,it's 0.25 cents per page. This was a ghetto establishment. In addition, the hotel was not properly ventilated. When I made the clerk aware of this, he said it was nothing he could do because the hotel was sold out for the night. The Best Western Long Beach Convention Center is the best.
