nothing luxurious about this luxury hote

the room was spacious and had working everything except the bed. had two queens and both were awful. changed rooms after the first night and the new room, which wasn't ready till 6 p.m., had even worse beds. had to attend conference sessions and was so tired from lack of sleep, we kept dozing off. there was hair in the tub and dust coming out of vents.

Great location and great staff!

Location great! Close to everywhere and great staff. Breakfast buffet time could have been better. (7 am-11am) Would have liked a earlier time like 6 or 6:30 am. Needed to go to meetings in the morning. Otherwise food was good and clean hotel. Will try to stay next time.

Beware of age limit!

This is not a bad review for Spa Resort Casino, it looked beautiful from what I saw, but I did not get to stay there. I booked the trip on [...], and searched for any kind of age limit (I am over 18, under 21), but did not see any exclusions. I booked the hotel for four days, and upon arrival, was denied access to the hotel. Luckily, [...], one of the managers at Spa Resort Casino was helpful and courteous, and booked us a stay across the street at the Hilton. It was an easy transfer and I was relieved that I didn't have to make last minute reservations somewhere else in town. Overall, it looked beautiful, spacious, and clean, but make sure you call BEFORE you book on [...], because [...] may not include all the details.

Very nice staff

I was in Palm Springs for a party near the hotel. It was my first time at the Spa. The room was large and nicely furnished. There was a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was beautifully done with Crabtree and Evelyn "lotions and potions." The Fitness Center had great equipment and there was plenty of elbow room. I couldn't have asked for more. What made the stay most enjoyable was the excellent staff. Everyone I came in contact with was super, from check-in to check-out. This is an older property that has been very well maintained. It is probably best for adults since the pool is smaller than at the large new resorts. I will most certainly stay at the Spa again.

First Class Accomodations

The hotel is centrally located to downtown Palm Springs, it's within a few blocks of shops and restaurants. The casino is separate from the hotel by one block;the hotel will give you shuttle service to and from the casino and back in a 8 seater golf cart. I enjoyed the casino at night, and even took the time to see a show in their Cascade lounge "La Cage", it was great. The casino is every bit as nice as the big casino's in Lake Tahoe or Reno NV. The pool area was fantastic. I didn't have time to partake of the spa treatments, but it appeared to be a very nice facility. Our room had it's own balcony which overlooked the swimming pool area. The balcony also faced the huge mountain range which looked surreal against the blue sky.

We loved it here

Easy one block walk to center of downtown shopping. Older hotel, but that adds to its charm. Loved the hot mineral water spa/pool.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Every Tuesday, they have a street fair downtown - music, art and food vendors - great fun.
