sunny springs
our experience was great it was only a 1 night stay. We'll definitely return they have fire pits located all through the grounds, the decor is beautiful and rooms are very nice.

Perfect Getaway
Pricey and not quite the heart of Palm Springs
About a minute drive from the heart of Palm Springs. This throwback resort looks fabulous but lacks some basics. There are nowhere near enough pool chairs for everyone that goes. Go to the pool at 8am and reserve your chair you might be waiting all day to get one. There are 2 restaurants on site, but the Sidebar serves the food from the main restaurant, hence there is really only one. A little variety in the evening would be nice.

Really!!!!
This is a place in search of an audience. Should hipsters be comfortable? families? honeymooners? retirees? It also is in search of a decor decade. Supposedly mid century (i.e. 50s) it could really not make up its mind. Blaring music around the pool, with sticky tables and dirty cement around the pool... and "too cool for school" staff. Housekeeping did not think it important to empty trash, nor did they make it until 6 pm to clean the room. Breakfast on the first morning. No menus to go around and oh, after 10 minutes, still no menus or anybody to fill a glass of water. All this with a "resort" fee. REAllY??????

Amazing Pool!
If you are looking to just lounge by the pool, this is the perfect resort. The pool bar and pool staff, are the best! Huge pool and plenty of lounge chairs. The spa is really amazing too. We stayed in a suite, and upon arrival I found several food items on the floor. It looked like the room hadn't been vacuumed. There also were several light bulbs that needed replaced. Wi-fi was inconsistent - sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I had a lot of work to do, before I could relax, and it was near impossible due to the wifi. There were also no curtains or blinds for the common area, everyone that walked by the pool could see you. Needless to say, we didn't use the living room/kitchen area at night. Overall, we would definitely stay there again, but we wouldn't pay the price for a suite, it's not worth it.

AMAZING STAFF & SERVICE
The staff was amazing. Prior to checking in I was delayed and requested that my party be able to check in without me. It was no problem. Everyone from bellmen to the assistant front office manager, Oscar Trani went above and beyond. I look forward to my next visit.

cool place
Only stayed a night so didn't get to use all the amenities but the place has a really cool vibe and a great job on the remodel would efinitely stay again and check out the pool.

giant hotel a taxi ride away from center of town
While the staff was extremely pleasant, and the amenities relatively complete, the price point, location and endless confusing and dull corridors resulted in overall disappointment.

Fun Retro
After a less desirable chain hotel cancelled our reservations without notice during the Indian Wells Tennis tournament, my family was in a panic. We were in Palm Springs on a spring weekend with nowhere to stay. We were delighted with our stay at the Riviera. It was above our original price range but the hotel and spa exceeded my expectations. The rooms were retro funky. I loved the decor and feel of the hotel. One downside for a couple who are not here for the nightlife is that it is an active hotel on the weekend. The pool is beautiful. I would easily stay at the hotel again

Housekeeping services were slow
Although the overall experience was fine, we did have some issues with housekeeping. The room was clean, but missing some glassware and coffee cups. The housekeeping department was very slow to correct the situation.
