Not bad
I think the room is a little small but it's clean and has nice furniture and pretty much everything you need. Too bad it has no microwave. The location is not good. It's too far of a drive to the main attractions of PS. Staff is friendly.

A good place to stay
Very pleasant. Clean rooms and friendly helpful staff. Good location for exploring the area. Bus stopped close by but was also close enough to walk to downtown Palm Springs. Had a restaurant on the property which served an excellent breafast. Was quite pleased with everything.

Good restaurants were within walking distance, but you could also take a bus. Check out El Mirasol for Mexican food and the California Pizza Kitchen for a variety of dishes.

Nice Staff. Very good for the price.
Stayed for three nights. Nice clean room. Water was not draining well in the sink. Recommend this hotel.

Relaxing visit
I was pleasantly surprised, considering the price, that this hotel provided all the amenities I needed. The staff was very pleasant and my room was kept clean. I would definitely use this hotel again. The location was close to many restaurants and grocery/drug stores, which can be handy when traveling.

No Frills
Lower-end budget scene dictates no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Four nights of retreat, rest and relaxation. Without a car, safe and enjoyable walking to nearby shopping and restaurants. Poolside was GREAT! The exercise facilities were very limited, with no TV to keep you going.

Stranded without a car was no issue; the bus stop was nearby and the short walks do not affect health or age.

Building and furnishings are old...
The Quality Inn must've been a really nice place ten years ago--the layout is great, and the pool area is fantastic. Unfortunately, the building is aging poorly--there was heavily peeling exterior paint and large dips in the floor, all caused by wood rot, and there were small broken tidbits here and there like light switches, door latches, etc. Also, on my first day, it turns out the cleaning staff had missed a used towel left in a easy-to-miss place by the previous guest. Understandable but still gross. It seems the owner is repairing/replacing furniture, as the garbage area had stacks of old furniture being thrown out, and the TVs were brand new, so things may improve in the near future. But they will have a hard time replacing the wooden beams under the floor any time soon, so the floor may remain unpleasant to walk on for the foreseeable future. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd stayed in much newer lodgings nearby for only $10 more per night, so I'd probably not return.

Take off your list of available hotels
The Room was shabby, drywall peeling along the baseboards, showers was so old, didn't work well. I found LARGE bugs in shower area!! Drywall VISIBLY peeling at baseboard front office. Best thing was friendliness of staff, TV channel selection.
