great pool......poor service

The pool is the best thing about this place and the best ends there. Our room did not get cleaned the first day. When we called down around 3 they were going to send housekeeping up. When we returned around 6 it still was not cleaned. We called down and were able to get clean towels. The next day the same thing. The food service at the pool was also awful. Our order was wrong twice, guess third times the charm! Mistakes happen except here no one seems to care.

Allowed the motor cycle gang the Mongals stay while I was there. This group was loud and rude.

Did not clean room well. Was not consistent and left things dirty. Motor cycle gang should never been allowed to stay. They were loud, had meetings outside my room and kept me up late when I needed to attend a conference the next day. They used trash cans to reserve spots for parking. I believe they were rebuilding a motor in their room. Lots of banding and power wrench use until late at night. Can hear everything through the walls. Also was bothered by the staff to come to a meeting to become a time share owner. Overall it sucked.

Want a timeshare in exchange for your parking pass? Kids in the hall? Waking up to tell the maid no?

JUST SAY NEVER. No never, never never, never. Did I mention never? And those disturbing running kids? Pool reservation-ed chairs never used? 3 hours trying to hot sell a timeshare? NEVER. NO not ever. Does not need anyone's hard earned money.

Palm Canyon Resort and Spa - Ughhhh!!!

We were placed in the wing that does not surround the pool area. This place is very runned down. Its a shame that the resort has not been maintained. I am one of the original owners and it truly has been sad seeing this once beautiful place go down hill.

This hotel was just okay

The location and cleanliness of the hotel were great. However, our neighbors in the next room ended up being a bunch of high school/college kids that decided that the hotel was a place to party instead of sleep. We had to call the front desk twice before anything was done about it, so we were very happy that we only stayed here one night.

The pool is about the only good thing

Air condition never worked right , they don't air condition the hallways so it's like walking through Kuwait to get to your room . Bathroom was falling apart . Sofa bed had a bar sticking up across it ... The only good thing was the pool even though they closed it at a early 10 pm

average family getaway

right side of Queen bed uncomfortably only inches from window/wall and slopped toward window a little. Our room was hard to find because the room number did not match other numbers on the floor and was not listed on wall at the elevator, a fact staff did not mention.

Wasn't what I expected

When I had called to verify my room, they had said I might not be able to stay. Took a few moments for them on the phone to get me room. When I check in they were very nice. I found the room to crowded and half the lights didn't work. The bathroom wasnt properly cleaned. There was someone's hair on the shower walls. when waking up in the morning, I found a bill which was a room charge. They fixed the problem. One thing that made up for the problem was the pool. Nice place to relax.

Good location, great pool but beware of partiers.

Unfortunately had a party directly across from us until 3 am one night. We notified hotel staff starting at midnight - they did respond but it took 3 hours to fully clear the situation. Kitchen pots need upgrading.

A good time for families.

This is a good hotel for the type of families that like hanging out all weekend in swimming pools and waterslides. Rooms were a bit small but they did the job. Underground parking was perfect to keep the car cool in the 100F heat. We tend to like bigger, quieter rooms so next time I'll try a different hotel. Great location near the Indian reservations.
