Horrible
Requested non-smoking room but was placed in a smelly smoked out room. There was a used condom in the trash can that wasn't found by the staff.

Staff was great
Bed was uncomfortable but for the price..... My review was too short? I have nothing else to say. Staff was great!

pleasant, quiet, forgettable motel with pool
I needed five quiet days in the sun; this motel gave me those. A pricier hotel would have had less thin walls, but I was seldom bothered. Hot water was good. The pool, open from 9am to 9.30pm, was pleasant - just 5' deep, not large - nothing special but pleasant. Humming birds and mountains were visible. I had no car and enjoyed the ten-minute walk to a wide choice of restaurants and cafes.

Reasonable and Handy Location
Every thing was fine. Close to Downtown, shopping and eating places. Room was clean. Only bad thing was the front desk called me and informed me that there had been numerous complaints about my dog barking. I told them I do not have a dog on this trip and the dog was in the neighboring room. This was just a minor inconvenience. I would stay at this motel again.

Short drive from hotel
Be sure to take a ride on the tram. It is quite an experience! It is a 15 minute ride (one-way) and takes you 8500 feet up. Lots of walking trails at the top.

A Very Nice Place!
Very Nice room and the pool and spa were great. The guests were just what you would want as neighbors.....right on!

Very nice for a Motel 6
One of the better Motel 6 properties, and certainly better than the others in the area. Higher priced than the others as well. The closest Motel 6 to downtown Palm Springs. Very clean, comfortable beds, good climate control, no frills.

Does the job
Basic, no frills. No shampoo, fridge or microwave in the room. TV worked fine. Paper-thin walls, though not really noisy. If you get a top (3rd) floor room, you may end up in one underneath the air conditioning unit, which will be noisy ALL the time. Pool looked clean. Beds were kind of hard.

Palm Greens Cafe is across South Palm Canyon Drive. Open until 3pm, it has an awesome selection of organic breakfast and lunch meals. Don't miss the Green Smoothie!
