enjoyed motel
the location is great walking distance to downtown with all restaurants and shopping. the building is new, f 3 stores, looks very good; parking is available. swimming pool and Jacuzzi are open - never have seen a pool at motel. Rooms are spacious, good furniture; clean. Linen / cover are new. Coffee was served in the morning people at the office really friendly and very helpful Sturbucks is next door, gas station is next door

Just OK
Well, you deserve what you paid. No Microwave, No refrigerator, no hair dryer, no face tissue. Open the water for 10 minutes until bathtub water became hot and ready for a shower. It took the front desk girl 15 minutes to check me in, although I had already reserved the stay via O*****. Will choose this, but only for a sleep-only stay next time maybe...

Great location:1/2 mi. to GLBT nightlife (Arenas Rd) & Spa Casino
Had a good experience. Proximity was a big plus - we were very close to the GLBT bars & nightclubs. The stay was peaceful - not a loud traffic area. Very nice staff, very accommodating, very kind. Easy check in/check out; the hours are very reasonable. No negative GLBT reactions (which sometimes happens when two guys are sharing a queen bed.) Very welcoming staff; always a very good interaction. Computer, pad & smart-phone users be warned: the WIFI sucks. You have to pay a nominal fee - it's not an amenity. That's annoying, feels like nickel & dime'ing. They don't get that WIFI is a UTILITY these days, NOT an AMENITY. Huge change needed in that thought process. Especially important for business travelers - I had to do some work over the weekend and found the WIFI signal low and unreliable. Heard it was common across the complex. Don't expect multimedia or video/audio streaming; down-loading will be slow; and a cloud connection will make you wish for a 3.5" floppy. All this applies to WIFI smartphone users too. NEEDS IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. Yet the WIFI challenges aside; it was all that we needed for a weekend jaunt, at a very cost-effective. price. I recommend it to anyone looking to go out & enjoy the town - when hotel time isn't for much more than sleep (or other bed activities). Enjoy! PS - BTW: no food services (delivery) after 10pm.

Better than I remembered it.
Fresh and clean. Not a Ritz, but for the price you cannot go wrong. Staff was friendly and knowledgable. Will book it again.

It had a big pool
Swam all day! Nonsmoking room stunk of cigarettes!!!! :-( Nice for being a motel 6 but needs to update decor !

Cuppa Joe
Convenient downtown location
This is a basic hotel to get a good night's sleep, wake up and shower, then hit the town. A lot of Palm Springs is in walking distance, and the rest is just minutes away. True caffeine fiends like me will be dismayed to find there is no Joe in the vending machines, the Starbucks has closed at 10:00, and you can't walk up to the window at the nearby Jack-In-The-Box.
