Not fancy but still great!
Older hotel, a bit run down, but absolutely worth booking. The suite was very spacious. Everything was mediocre as far as decor and comfort, but I wasn't looking for fancy or frills. The location can't be beat for the price. Staff was very helpful, especially Cindi at the front desk. The grounds and pool area are well maintained. If you are a self sufficient unpretentious traveler on a budget this will work.

Short walk from hotel
The shopping strip is very close. Hit the Italian restaurant named Johny (something can't remember the second part, but starts with a C). Excellent food.

Huge Room and Excellent Location
The Marquis Villas Resort is located downtown and is convenient to shopping and the Thursday night Village Fest. The room was enormous with two closets, a full kitchen, dining room, living room and a large bathroom area with tub and a separate shower. It made it easy for two adults to get ready at the same time. The underground parking is convenient and cooler than leaving the car outside in Palm Springs. It's a wonderful place for a vacation!

UNHAPPY CUSTOMER
CELEBRATION OF MUY BIRTHDAY
NOT VERY CONTENT. I HAD PROBLEMS FOR THE ROOM WITH 2 BEDS. AN THE ROOM HAVE THE CARPET AN VERY BAD CONDITIONS DIRTY AN DAMAGE THE STOVE WAS BROKE AN THE SERVICES TO CLEAN I WAS NOT VERY HAPPY. AFTER I CHECK OUT LADY AT THE FROM DESK ,WANT CHARGE ME MORE MONEY . SOMETHING ABOUT RESORT USE. I HOPE YOU GET MY MESSAGE

Palm Springs
The hotel was fine. The rooms are large and not too outdated - pretty much what you would expect from a time share. The pool was very nice - heated at about 82-84 degrees. Perfect for a spring time stay. Location is perfect if you like to be downtown Palm Springs. Huge balcony, decent kitchen. Beds OK. We had 4 women in the room and fit us all comfortably. Sofa sleeper not all that great but was expected. Had to call and get blankets for it. I would give it 4 stars for value.

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
The Good: The Hotel was located in a great area, close to downtown Palm Springs. It was large as well to accommodate 4 people. The Bad: We had to change rooms, as the rug was older them Mummy's dust and had cigarette burns on it, even though it was a none smoking room. The Ugly: The new room had a new rug, but the beds were the same as the other room, saggy and the bedspreads were older then mummy's dust as well. The pull out couch had stains all over the mattress and the dish cloths were old and stained. They looked like mop rags. I would not stay there again. It was not worth it even at a 60% discount.

"Unbeatable location for the price"
Clean room, lobby, and grounds. In close proximity to everything in Palm Springs. Staff was courteous and very attentive. Enjoyed the large rooms with all amenities.

Great Place to Stay
Great location, spacious and clean, well appointed, much nicer than I had expected based on previous reviews. Didn't use the pool or other facilities, but they looked clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay there again.
