the realy ugly
The hotel is not the same you see in their pictures, in the sense that the hotel need mayor improvements, to old, the furniture is to decayed, and dusty, the only reason I did not leave was that I had already paid, this hotel has great potential, but they need to do a mayor remodeling. Everything is too old and nothing functions properly, we had problems with the shower, we could not get hot water, the outlets in the bathroom did not work, I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Great Location, Comfy Rooms.
The Rooms were very big and comfy, great location. The beds were too small, and check-out time of 11:00 a.m. was strictly enforced

Palm Springs
The hotel was fine. The rooms are large and not too outdated - pretty much what you would expect from a time share. The pool was very nice - heated at about 82-84 degrees. Perfect for a spring time stay. Location is perfect if you like to be downtown Palm Springs. Huge balcony, decent kitchen. Beds OK. We had 4 women in the room and fit us all comfortably. Sofa sleeper not all that great but was expected. Had to call and get blankets for it. I would give it 4 stars for value.

Good price and location
The hotel was old, carpet needed to be replaced in the room, as well as the bed. It was very, very clean though--a must for us. The size of the room was great and we especially enjoyed the tennis courts. We would definitely stay again, but we are use to moving around in Palm Springs, staying at different locations. We love to visit the area.

Great location, huge room
The hotel is in a great location, huge room with a full kitchen and living room. Nice big bathroom. The hotel isn't fancy but it's clean and spacious. Great place to bring kids. Two blocks from the main drag. Very reasonably priced!

Free WiFi is in the lobby
I was attending a technology conference and the Marquis was recommended by the conference organizers. Their web site promised "free" WiFi . . . What they didn't say was that the "free" WiFi is only available in the lobby which does not have air conditioning. Oh by the way, the "free" WiFi isn't actuall free it is part of a $10 a day "resort" fee!

Great Rooms and service
I was in a business trip attending esri partner conference and developer summit. The experience in the hotel was good. However, the registration process was painful. Please provide adequate details for non- americans. I almost missed the room for lack of a credit card to pay holding fee. Please, please provide this info before hand. Why fly for 30 hrs then have the attendant deny you room service. To me this was annoying and an injustice.

Annoyed with lack of WIFI in room
great price but no wifi in room
The rooms were huge. Close to 1000 sq ft. 2 bathrooms, both large. Nice kitchen and dinning/living room area with a balcony. The reception was open all night and they handle late arrivals well. The major problem was there was no Wifi in the rooms. They did have wifi in the lobby but it was inconvenient not having it in the room. They also charge this $10 resort fee for parking, wifi and long distance phone calls(this is a good deal for the parking and phone but not for the wifi). The location is also great just a few blocks from all the restaurants and nightlife. We didn't need to use a taxi at all.please note that I have no idea what the dinning options were [...].

The good, the bad, and the really ugly
The Good: The Hotel was located in a great area, close to downtown Palm Springs. It was large as well to accommodate 4 people. The Bad: We had to change rooms, as the rug was older them Mummy's dust and had cigarette burns on it, even though it was a none smoking room. The Ugly: The new room had a new rug, but the beds were the same as the other room, saggy and the bedspreads were older then mummy's dust as well. The pull out couch had stains all over the mattress and the dish cloths were old and stained. They looked like mop rags. I would not stay there again. It was not worth it even at a 60% discount.
