Sorry to see Zoso Go!

This is probably the last time we stay at the Zoso before it becomes a Hard Rock property. We really enjoy this boutique hotel...especially because of the location. We walked everywhere, all weekend. Their desk staff is the BEST - especially Raul Rodriquez. However, their restaurant (at breakfast) were inadequately staffed and less than accomodating - long waits to order and for food. Our server literally had sweat running down his face while he was taking our order. Gross. We were inconveninced a few times by the housekeeping staff - not cleaning the room while we were gone ALL day - so we had to leave at 4 pm to allow them to clean the room. Then, they knocked and opened the door to come in to clean the room at 8 am the day we were checking out! Not acceptable.

Excellent business location

Hotel Zoso was a very pleasant experience. The staff was friendly. Room was clean and spacious. Location is perfect for downtown restaurants and activities. I found the hotel to be geared towards adults and not conducive towards children.... I would definitely stay at Zoso again.

not a 4 star hotel, far from it

I booked two roomes for me and my guest, however when we arrived there was only one roomed booked for us and the staff said that it was your fault, it was embabarrassing. After waiting an hour and a half they were able to fing a second room for us. they said that you had just faxed over the second reservation. I was not happy with the service I received. Also pool very small and crowded. Also very overpriced for the amenities and service received, and the $15 a day per person hotel tax is outrageous, very disappointed all around.

Perfect location, nice rooms, beautiful lobby, awesome pool area

We love zoso. It's not over priced, great location, the rooms are clean and very spacious, most of the rooms have a great mountain view from the balcony. The staff has always been friendly. The pool area is fun but not to crazy. The food is great. When u walk out the door you are literally right in the middle of town. It's close to all the restaurants and shops within walking distance. The lobby is comfy and a great place to have a drink. There is even a pool place on the lobby A perfect weekend getaway

Zoso is a great hotel location for Palm Springs

Nice hotel, clean, comfortable and simple, nothing luxurious. Rooms are fresh, beds comfortable. Nice place to relax at the pool for a couple days (if the weather is nice). Pool area can use a bit of help but is not to bad. Staff make you feel like a guest, very accomodating and they dont nickel and dime you. I reccomend this place and would go back in a flash.

Pretty average considering the price

We had to request 3 room changes when checking in due to poor lighting. The first 3 rooms the put us in were as dark as night during the middle of the day. Each time we returned with the same complaint, yet they'd put us in an equally as dark room. Then when they did find us a room with adequate light, the previous guests had not checked out. Finally, it's extra, extra, extra at this place. A resort fee is charged per day. They will then add tax, service fee and utilities fee to that fee. And the resort tax does not include the cost of a fridge...that's extra again! 4 starts ?? I don't think so. It's a pleasant place to stay but the hassel and inconvenience of incompetent staff and additional fees quickly ruins the experience.

Annoyed by extra charges

Check in is at 4:00pm not 3:00pm as stated. You have extra charges to pay when you check in. A resort fee of $15 and overnight parking fee of $15 unless you want to park on the street. Room was big and clean. Staff was polite.
