Find Another Place To Stay
The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The blanket on the bed had 14 cigarette burn marks. The carpet also had burn marks. There was no coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. When I asked management about the hair dryer, I was told they have been removed because a guest dropped one in the sink water a while back! This motel is on a very busy street and traffic noise can not be lessened by keeping the windows closed.

Safty issue. Gang infested.
I was not able to even check in. Immediatly when I arived I noticed one of the deadlyist moter cycle gangs were staying at the hotel. I had to pretend to have the girl working show me physically where the room was so I could speak to her with out a gang member present. I would have been in danger to even mention them. She did understand and said she would agree to allow the refund from you. Thank you for understanding the terrible situation.

Frequent Traveler: Disappointed
Our stay was disappointing, to say the least, from the very beginning. Our very first impression was that the pictures weren't even close to accurate. We were under the assumption this was a 3 star hotel (for the price $85/night and the pictures). I would say this is a 1.5 star hotel. It was the type of hotel you pull back the sheets to check for bedbugs/cleanliness. We would have paid more to stay in a better hotel. Our first night in the hotel went smooth but when we went to shower, the tub almost flooded the bathroom from a 5-minute shower. We brought it to their attention; in turn they took about 45 minutes to arrive (we waited, as we do not trust many hotels- thief capabilities). They pulled out a 'hairball' and left. The next day we took another shower and the tub filled up again. They said they would be coming at 10 AM to fix. Since we were still un-trusting and wanted to enjoy our day elsewhere, we decided to move our luggage to our vehicle and let the front desk know the plumber could come in when we weren't there. When we got back, we tested the shower (we were smarter this time) and it still wasn't fixed. We also found out the maids cleared out our fridge including food and alcohol. We immediately went to the front desk and they were not very friendly with the issue, actually accusing US of lying (remember how un-trusting we are of hotels). The next morning the manager admitted the mistake, and refunded us 1 night (even though it was going on 3 days of errors), moved us to another room, apologized for the miscommunication, and refunded the estimated loss of items. We were happy they fixed the issue, but they should have taken care of the situation earlier and not offended us by implying WE were lying. I guess we have to take pictures of our hotel room and fridge every time we leave. The comforter had candy stuck to it. Another added bonus, the towels had stains (like nail polish, old make-up) on every one we used, disgusting! Terrible experience especially since it was a leisure-vacation. I wouldn't recommend to family/friends or anyone else at that.

Long walk from hotel
Palm Springs is a beautiful city, lots of shopping and great food. The hotel is located close to the 'downtown' festivities. It is the one positive I made on the review (close to points of interest).

Bad !
Rooms were clean but smelled of insect repellent. We rented two rooms. AC units in both the units were outdated and were so loud that it was difficult to sleep - it was like sleeping in a factory ! The walls were paper thin and you can hear everything next door - you do not want to bring your children here ! Moreover people were congregating outside their rooms, loud, drinking until late hours. We got in at 11p (spontaneous planning) with plans to leaver early in the morning to go hiking. But with all the noise levels - AC, people outside, and commotion next door, we did not get a wink of sleep (we were better off sleeping in the car or pay mor $ and stay at a decent hotel). Further, on the entrance of the Inn it read Day's Inn - however, this happened to be a banner that covered the sign called 'palm court'. They put up the 'Days Inn' banner during day time and very late at night they remove it. After checking into the Inn at 11 pm, we headed out to get something to eat and when we returned we couldn't find the place because they had removed the 'Days Inn' banner and they were now called 'Palms Court' !! Not a place for family or for any decent group of people !

Disappointed
Rooms need major upgrade. Furniture is old and dirty. Bed sheets were torn. Shower stall was small and needed a couple of minutes to run to get hot water. Staff seemed irritated whenever we approached front desk. We've stayed at Days Inn before, but never one like this. Overall, disappointed. But you get what you pay for.

dont even think about it
This could be the worst hotel/motel accomodations that I have ever experienced in my 64 years..especially if you are put in the most remote of the buildings. The room smelled! The AC was not only noisy, but was not able to even cool the room! the towels were so thread bare you couls see through them and white? HA! How about a yellow/tan from age!!!. The bed spread? DIRTY the floor DIRTY! the toilet bowl was so stained it made me sick to look at. And, the shower stall, broom closet size, must have been retro fitted into the bathroom because a standard water knob could not fit in the corner where it was mounted, so a wing nut contraption controlled the hot water. Have I said enough??????????

There for The Big 4.
It was alright.
We got put in a handicapped room even though we did not require one. It wasn't obviously dirty, but I still felt the need to wipe everything down. It definetly didn't scream clean. The pillowcases had hairs on it so I had to go get clean ones. I always bring my own blanket, which was a good thing because I could tell the ones there hadn't been washed recently. The shower had a handheld showerhead with nowhere to hang it. It was hung on the safety bars. The toilet was an industrial type that sprayed toilet water up onto the seat everytime you flushed. I did see inside some of the other rooms and they looked nicer. I guess it was ok for the price. Next time I will probably spend more to get a little nicer room. If you decide to stay here make sure you don't get Room 117.
