Just OK

At check in at the Palm court Inn the man behind the counter was having a disagreement with the lady in front of us. Telling her that the police come at night and knock at your door if you credit card does not match you. We waiting for at least 15 minutes for them to finish and help us. Then the no smoking room smelled like smoke. But the pool was very nice.

Not too Close

This is a very nice hotel, but it is not very close to the downtown area where we needed to be. It's about a $20 cab ride from the airport.

Find Another Place To Stay

The non-smoking room smelled of smoke. The blanket on the bed had 14 cigarette burn marks. The carpet also had burn marks. There was no coffee maker or hair dryer in the room. When I asked management about the hair dryer, I was told they have been removed because a guest dropped one in the sink water a while back! This motel is on a very busy street and traffic noise can not be lessened by keeping the windows closed.

Facilities were very old ...

Facilities were very old and not in good repair. Rooms smelled and had very old sheets and almost no towels. Whom ever did the maintenance must have a first grad education. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

Cheap for the area

The Palm Court Inn was one of the least expensive hotels in Palms Springs. Though it is not beautiful, it was clean and perfectly adequate. The area was not scary. Overall a good value. Breakfast was free, but a little annoying to get. First I had to go to the front desk to get a voucher for the restaurant next door. At the restaurant, you have to wait to get seated. All this to get a cup of juice and a pastry which could have easily been dispensed from the hotel lobby.

A Spontaneous Getaway

On 6/15 midnight, my daughter and I decided to take a spontaneous overnight trip to Palm Springs and I found Palm Court Inn's price and reviews favorable and booked a one night reservation immediately. When we arrived at the motel, it reminded us both of having the 70's feel to it. A little on the nostalgic side, I would say. We walked over to the pool area and like it immediately with the wide open spaced with green manicured lawn. Relaxing... Oh yes! Bring your laptop, wireless WIFI is free. You just go to the front desk to receive the login code and password (they'll print it out for you) The restaurant next door, Ricks, is just as nostalgic as the hotel. If you like the simple pleasures of life, this accommodations is worth the try.
