Lovely for r and r
Lovely setting, great bar and restaurant, decent spa with on call staff. Definitely a younger crowd but still comfortable for "middle agers".

A Quintessial Palm Springs Experience
It's a bit of a walk for both the convention center and the main walking district of Palm Springs, but if you're willing to walk a bit, you won't be disappointed. The grounds are spectacular! Everything you imagine stars from 1930s and 40s Hollywood would go to Palm Springs for. Fragrant jasmine and gardenia bloom in the garden and the amenities in the rooms are first class! I ended up at the hotel on a Vacation Deal and while I was there, booked my next stay!

Hotel Restaurant is really good, but fairly expensive. Eat breakfast and lunch in other locations and save up for dinner at the hotel.

Old Time Palm Springs
Lovely grounds and rooms spread out in different locations. Pool is centerpiece with Purple Palms restaurant serving good food. We werethere for three breakfasts, two diinners...pricey, but nice menu and lovely setting. Too cold at the time to use pool, but people sat out in robes...food and drinks served by pool. Nice massage at the Spa. Very relaxing hotel away from the high-rise scene. Our "deluxe" room was in the Garden area, but rather small and absolutely no place to "put" anything. We brought in a little table from the patio to put our computer on. Cleared away all the bottles of liquor and glasses on the bar which was the only remaining surface to even put a purse, or anything else. Liked our stay, but I would have asked to see the room first.

Oasis in Palm Springs
The Colony Palms has become our new go to hotel in Palm Springs. The grounds are beautifully manicured, the pool scene is low key, and their restaurant Purple Palm is fantastic! If you are looking for a quiet weekend at a chic, luxury boutique hotel I highly recommend Colony Palms! You won't be disappointed!

Pleasent surprise
The value for this hotel was excellent. You can't beat the location and amenities. The pool area was comfortable with private areas for hanging out. We did find some of the extras quite pricey though. A martini shaker that you could buy at Target for $12 was for sale in the room for $42! Also, there is a charge for the room safe where you can swipe your card to pay. I personally feel that a hotel should provide in-room security for their guests at no charge not see it as a profit center. Other than than that we truly enjoyed our stay.

Charming Hotel
It is a nicely renovated old hotel located in downtown Palm Springs. It has a beautiful courtyard with a swimming pool and an outdoor fireplace. The room was nice and the bedding was great. My wife is considering tracing down the vendor. Free parking is available around the hotel. The staff has been very helpful during our stay. The hotel has a character that is just not there in large chain hotels. The restaurant is pricey, but it overlooks the courtyard.

3 days in paradise
I went for a much-needed rest & the Palms provided everything I needed: a very comfortable room, quiet, discreet staff, idyllic gardens, wonderful pool & jacuzzi. As an early riser, I particularly appreciated the 7 am coffee & newspaper , which I enjoyed while gazing at the spectacular mountains. The hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown & of a couple of exceptional restaurants: Cheeky's for breakfast, Birba for dinner. No pool toys allowed, & no boisterous guests! Wonderful!
