Decent place
Just spent one night, while attending the Modernist Show. Room was clean and very quiet. Staff super nice. We got a voucher for a full breakfast across the street. Just a few negatives: Mattress a bit thin. AC not quite strong enough...what would it be like in the hot season? Never used the pool. In the midst of a make-over. Several rooms closed for rehab. Overall good value for the price.

Home for ten days
We enjoyed our stay and the motel is very nice and they are remodeling to make it even better. Even during the remodel the disturbance for the guests was minimal and the staff made sure we were comfortable and enjoying themselves.

Call to verify the next 2 weeks! (CONSTRUCTION)
Check in was quick and easy! Desperately needs updating. Hotel was bought and in middle of renovations. 2 jackhammers going at 8am right in front of my room! They did move me, but could still hear it. They are dropping ABVI in March. It will be called The Monroe, after the new owner.

Anniversary weekend
When we arrived they told us they had no non-smoking rooms available. I explained i was unable to sleep in a smoking room, and that we had requested a non smoking room. I was told for an additional $30. i could get a non-smoking room. I paid it and asked for a receipt but was told they could only give me a receipt for the lesser amount not including the additional $30. The A/C was noisy all night long. Our neighbors were intoxicated used foul language and were noisy all night. The pool was cold and dirty. The jaccuzi was out of order all weekend. And fineally the bed was so uncomfortable, it felt likeit was 30 years old and had no support. Other than that it was fine.

Quick Stay
We booked two rooms. The AC wasn't as cool during the day (it was 100+ the days i was there). Overall, okay stay.

Great Once Room Corrected
I called ahead to let the hotel know we would be late. When we arrived at about 1:30 am, the desk person was really friendly. However, we had booked a 2 bed room with a fridge. We received a one bed, no fridge, shabby room. Called our reservation agent and we were in the correct room in 20minutes. After that all was fine. Breakfast was muffins and coffee, juice. But there is a coffee place a few minutes away. Very convenient.

quick trip
friendly staff, easy check-in, economy pricing....didn't clean our room between the first & second night for some reason....otherwise was fine for quick and cheap.

Good in a pinch
The room is what you expect for the price. The tv was horrible, it stayed on a green color and couldn't be adjusted. The fan in the bathroom stayed on. The continental breakfast is a nice touch.

Not a huge fan
Old Hotel
Very old hotel. Needs upgrading. No ironing board/iron in the room, yet the room had a safe. TV from the early 1980's. I would not stay here again.
