A Very Good Night Sleep Check in was quick and easy, Staff Very friendly. Room and public areas well kept and clean. Hot tub very nice.

Quaint, good location
The Inn is located near gorgeous beachfront and we even saw some deer grazing right outside. I like that there was no carpet in the room, but we also had a fireplace and a front porch. I would stay again.

Great Place
We loved this place! I’ve wanted to stay there for a while, but it was always booked solid. We lucked out one weekend and ended up staying at the hotel with maybe 4 other quests. The rooms are very spacious, very nice finishes, comfortable beds, super quiet and the staff was great. We arrived in town several hours early and called to see if we could check in early and they said of course. All of the staff was very accommodating with anything that we needed. Really close to the Asilomar and it was a great quite street for walking. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great Location and Cute and Clean
Great location near the Lighthouse and only a block away from the beach. Very Clean and Cute Place to stay.

Great Value
The room was really cute and looked like it had been re-done recently. The front desk woman was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very nice, though the walls were a little thin. However, overall value was excellent. Cant beat the price!

Too early check out after a marathon
Shower was slimy. They would not let you check out after 1:30pm which made it difficult to shower after the marathon. This is even after I checked in at 8 PM the night before. The staff was supportive, however there were no exceptions to the check out time.

FANTASTIC WEEKEND GETAWAY
THIS PLACE IS GREAT ABOUT HALF A MILE FROM THE MOST BEUTIFUL COASTLINE WITHIN WALKIING DISTANCE. VERY QUITE AND PEACEFUL TOO.

Comfortable, but....
This small, modest motel was evidently remodelled fairly recently. The room we stayed in (#107) was comfortable with a gas fireplace, though somewhat sparsely furnished (no dresser or anything else with drawers suitable for clothing). The bathroom was adequate with a large shower (no tub, but we didn't care), although there was very limited counter space in the bathroom -- just a small area around the sink and a couple of narrow, short shelves on the wall. However, the room had one serious deficiency: the wall to the adjacent room transmitted sound freely. We could hear our neighbors' conversation and their snoring, which kept us awake much of the night. It would seem that no sound insulation was added as part of the recent remodeling -- certainly a mistake for our room, at least. The hotel's location near the lighthouse at the end of the Monterey peninsula is pleasant and the surroundings are most attractive. Were it not for the thin walls, we would gladly return to this motel.

cute little place, off the main road
The room was nice and clean. Had a nice flat panel tv and fireplace. We were way at the back of the property and it was very quiet which is a major factor for me. This is a remodelled old place and is cute but not fancy. The room was very stuffy and chemical smelling..gave me a headache when we got here but aired out ok. I loved the little balcony, which very few room have. Whirlpool tub was great! Continental breakfast was very sparse, only coffee, juice and bagel. Most places are providing a lot more these days.

Short drive from hotel
We had dinner at Bubba Gumps. Unfortunately both of our entrees were not at all good. The manager was very nice and offered to replace them and didn't charge for them. Great service,great location but we didn't like the shrimp tacos or coconut shrimp. Good chowder.
