Not the greatest but not the worst

The walls are little thin and the staff are a little too lethargic it seems like. But the hotel is comfortable for the most part.

Past it's prime

Staff friendly; shower worn (sliding glass door fell off track, shower head looks like it used to have variable stream but adjuster broke off, soap holder so tilted that can't hold soap); safety chain on door inoperable

Good for Location in Oakland, but...

The Inn itself was between Jack London Square, downtown Oakland and Old Oakland. It was great as far as the location goes. A little bit of a ways from the BART, but there was a shuttle along the main road. The room itself was middle of the road, just enough to have clean set of sheets, quiet time and a roof over my head.

Good value and location

While I didn't spend that much time in my room, it was worth every cent. Complimentary WiFi was a big reason for my choosing The Inn at Jack London Square and it worked well. The co-located Buttercup Grill has a wide selection of offerings at good prices. I would definitely stay here again.

Both Jack London Square and the surrounding area up and down Broadway provided enough dining options to satisfy most.

lackluster, for a big price

Upon arrival, the desk person acted as if my being there were a huge inconvience for her. Why do people who dislike people get these kinds of jobs? There didn't seem to be anyone around and it was VERY quiet.

The Inn was GREAT!!!!

I love The Inn at Jack London Square because it's located nearby everything that I wish to do. The Fat Lady (great for lunch or dinner), Everett and Jones for great BBQ. Plus I got my favourite room.

Unbeatable location for the price

Location is next to Jack London Square. Great restaurants in the area. Hotel staff very helpful.

Scotts is a great seafood restaurant on the water front and the Grill is an exceptional breakfast restaurant next to the hotel.
