La Quinta Inn Oakland Airport Coliseum

Room for the most part quiet, comfy bed, clean and orderly. Would stay again.

Room was perfect as always, however the staff check in person just wasn't up to parr and speed...we spent a considerable amount of time just waiting to get our room...we were the only ones besides someone else getting a credit.

Good proximity to the airport, but the coliseum area is a scary part of town. Gym is pathetic, which needs to be better when you can't really go outside in the local area to safely work out. Breakfast and staff were nice. Decent value but I've stayed in much nicer la Quinta's.

This hotel was very accommodating . The staff was great and courteous. Breakfast was good and in spite of the painting and reconstruction going on I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to my friends. The shuttle was always available for trips to the bart and this was an added plus.

Needed a cheap hotel near the Oakland airport and the Bart station. This one worked - they have a shuttle from the airport, and will drop you off at the Bart station. Not fancy, serves minimal free breakfast, but good for what I needed.

Overall for the price the La Quinta[...] is a very good value. The staff was friendly and efficient. The rooms were clean and the continental breakfast was good with enough variety to appeal to most folks.

the service from the front desk was very good, the free food in the mornig was great. and free internet in the room was great to have..i would stay there again..and tell my friends looking for a nice hotel with great rates to stay there..

This was a clean a decent hotel. There are plenty of fast food options nearby. They offered a good breakfast spread in the morning

I chose this hotel for being close to the airport with shuttle service and resonnable prices. The hotel was not very busy on this Monday night. They gave me a room at the end of the long hall opposite from the elevator. Once in and fortunetaly before settling down, I went to the bathroom to find that the toilet was not functionning. I went back downstair and was told that the handyman was gone for the day so they decided to give me another room. I went back upstairs, took my luggage and walk to the next room which card didn't work to open the door. The room was also next to the ice and soda machines. Back downstairs with all my luggage, I asked for a room away from the ice box and with a working card. I also asked not to be against the elevator so I could sleep. I ended up in the room on top of the automatic front door that kept opening and closing with an annoying noise on top of the cars doors opening and closing. To top the experience, they forgot to change my waking call at 3:30Am so I could catch my flight. Thank God I awoke on my own. I don't blame the hotel as much as the young people not doing their job in a professional way. It doesn't reflect very nicely on the hotel. The hotel itself, I would recommend without a problem.
