We loved this historic luxury hotel. The staff was wonderful and the rooms homy, clean and comfortable. We had a cannery-facing room and while there was certainly noise from the street below, it wasn't bothersome. Upon our arrival the room was
incredibly, incredibly warm. We stayed in July, and the heater was on. The rooms didn't appear to have air-conditioning, but we turned on the ceiling fan and opened the windows and left to go have dinner. Upon our return a couple hours later it was a perfectly comfortable temperature. Just something to note if you are particularly heat-sensitive. Our room (and I believe all) had an adorable fire place that I wish we could have used - perhaps we'll return during the winter months. This hotel reminded me of a smaller version of the Brown Palace in Denver it's the same kind of full-service, historic luxury.
