Love the pool and spa access
We have stayed here a few times now. Keep coming back for its great value, decent breakfast and love the indoor pool and spa access!

Great for First Night Festivities
We come to Monterey for First Night every year and this is our favorite place to stay. Nice accomodations, great convenient location and we LOVE the indoor pool and spa!!!! A really great value!

A Good Stay
A good value for the price, and a decent breakfast. Within walking distance of downtown and the wharf. The place could use some upgrades, it's getting a bit worn.

Exhausted...
Unfortunately on the night i was there a large group of motorcycle tourists were staying there also. Starting early in the morning they alternately were reving up their bikes and stomping up the wooden stairs and walkway to line up for the hotels breakfast. I was in a room right outside the door to the office where the breakfast is served so all morning long i had stomping boots, loud voices, and motorcycles. Can't really blame the hotel for it, seemed like a nice place otherwise just a rough morning for me....i guess be careful where they put you as far as rooms go.

Quality Motel, lives up to it's name.
We found this motel to be well worth the price (thru\ orbiz) Room was clean and quiet. Staff very pleasant and helpful. The clerk made a dinner reservation for us and restaurant gave us a free dessert (courtesy motel or orbiz). Complementary breakfast was better than most we have enjoyed. Didn't try the pool but looked inviting. 3 1/2 Stars Joe & DeeDee

BED BUGS!
We found a bed bug on the bed. Check out the pictures attached. The manager acted like they didn't know about the issue, but there was white powder all over the box spring and outlet cover behind the head board. The room was WAY overpriced for the size. You could get a much nicer room for the same amount of money. Below are some other comments from previous customers.... Note the room numbers that they call out. To apologize for the inconvenience the manager gave us %50 off of ONE of the rooms. Choice Hotels (who Quality Inn belongs to) said it isn't their issue and that it should be taken up with the local manager.... We will not be staying anywhere near this place again, nor any of the other Choice Hotels. Also the manager stated in an email "Once you told us we took care to make sure the room was properly cleaned and treated." <--- LIES. We happened to be sitting in our car, right outside of the room (116), when the maid entered. One gentleman left the room with a bundle of covers and a female maid walked in, right behind him with fresh sheets and proceeded to make the beds.

Don't stay here. The rooms are WAY too small for the amount they're asking. it's Hilton prices for Motel 8 amenities and room size.

This was the first time we stayed at Quality Inn and it was good! We loved how there was a fridge and a microwave oven. We were able to stick our leftovers in the fridge and heat them back up again when we got hungry. The free breakfast was great there were fresh juices and Danishes and a make your own waffle maker, what more can you ask for. Quality Inn was fantastic and hope it will always treat their guests with QUALITY service.

Quality Inn, Monterey - a perfect spot for experiencing Carmel and Monterey on the cheap
We recently reserved four rooms at the Monterey Quality Inn and were all pleased with the experience. While this isn't a stay at the Ritz by any means, the rooms were clean, comfortable and the free parking and breakfast were an added bonus. Loved all the flower boxes and appreciated the value. Will be back!
