A great place, at a great price!
My oldest son was turning five and wanted to go to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to celebrate. We decided to stay in town the night before and found this great deal on the Quality Inn. It was ideal for a family of four! The room was clean, warm and spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and bi-lingual (a plus). We were withing minutes from the aquarium and yet, the price was unbeatable. Staying so close to the aquarium was a plus and WILL do this trip again.

Short walk from hotel
There is a little parking lot where you can pay a flat rate of $10 to park all day, WITH in and out pass. It is a short walk to the aquarium and is next to a mall, and wonderful dining.

Smelly substandard room
THe first room shown smelled funny. The second room (and unfortunately) final room smelled just as badly. Really a hole in the wall!

monterey
me and my husband spent 2 nights in Monterrey for my birthday. we were looking for somewhere cheap and t was somewhat close to all the action. this place was very close to everything and is a good choice for couples on a budget.. down side is the walls are very thin so you are able to hear everything that's going on all around you all the time..

Just what we needed!
Very clean and comfortable. We were attending an event at the fairgrounds and it was just a short walk away. Met our needs just fine.

Good location and Price
Good location, within walking distance to the Monterey Fair Grounds. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was good, and the pool was open. Everything was clean and in working condition. Only downside was the lack of an air conditioner. It got pretty warm in out room and we had no way to cool off besides opening the windows.
