What a dump!
Location.. Awesome! Staff... Awesome Room..reminds of a hotel that should charge by the hour. Dingy, dark, grimy bathroom, drafts through the windows and doors. If I hadn't already forked out almost $250 bucks which are refundable or found any hotels in the area that weren't booked... I would be out of here in a heartbeat. If I didn't have the whole family with me.. I would sleep in the car... seriously. Staff is the best though... can't say enough.. but with such a prime location why would you let such a plus go to waste. NEVER AGAIN! put such a downer on our weekend.. wife and kids are troopers but I can't get over wasting 250 bucks for motel quality.. actually even worse... at least they leave the light on... can't even find an outlet here.

Great bargain
We arrived late in the evening, the guy at the reception was very friendly and offered to contact the restaurant to check if it was still open. Overall a great experience!

A bang for your buck
I found the location excellent. Once I parked my car....it stayed put...I walked everywhere I wanted to go (dinner, morning walk along the ocean, McFly's for a little dancing, movie theater, etc.#. The hot tub was a great way to relax before dinner. The tub was clean and hot! The room was very cozy. I think the hotel could use new towels #a couple were frayed and needed to be replaced). Also, the decor on the walls need to be updated.

Close to Aquarium
Staff was always friendly. Hotel was so close to everything Cannery Row has to offer. Also, we left our watch in the room and they found it and will be sending it to us. Will stay here again. We stayed the 1st week of Jan 2013...not 2012 as listed below.

Great Deal
This hotel is a bit outdated but well worth the price. It is 1 block from the ocean and 4-5 short blocks to the Aquarium. The staff was very friendly, the room was cleaned and stocked and parking is FREE! The only thing I would do different is to get a room on one of the lower floors. Although I had a partial view of the ocean from my room, the seagulls hang out on the roof all night and make a lot of noise. Being right under them woke me up a few times during the night. Other than that my family thought it was a positive experience and would gladly stay there again!

Short walk from hotel
It's a short walk to the Aquairum from here. Since the parking is free, I would check into the hotel and take a short walk verses paying for parking to park a block or two closer.

location!
Location is perfect for the money! Room was clean. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff was odd. But for the price it was perfect!
