Check out is suppose to be by 12; which is when I was told to return to check into my room. I was told instead that it would not be ready until 2! The tv is super small! I think 13" and the cable would freeze repeatedly WIFI is NOT FREE! It supposedly cost $3.00 a night but I was never able to connect! Overall the hotel is on the sketchy side and I never really trusted leaving my dive gear in the room

Value by price ratio is too low for Motel 6
- Expensive for value of the room - Noisy - No noise insulation - No iron or ironing board - Internet is not free (which I would expect to be free for the price I paid for the room) - No breakfast in the morning - Room location and look seem like a ghetto kind - Water pressure was too low in bathroom and in the sink - No coffee machine or a microwave - TV is non-LCD, 14" and shows only 6 channels which are terrible

Monterey Motel 6, Monterey, Ca.
I stayed three nights with my Miniature Schnauzer, Sparky. The staff was friendly and the Motel 6 location was perfect for visiting my family who live nearby. It was clean, peaceful, and quiet with plenty of hot water for showers. A funny loud sound occurred two of the three mornings between 6 and 7 am. It sounded like a vacuum sealer being applied to one of those jars of coffee beans like I have at home. It was loud, but brief. No other loud sounds were heard while I stayed there. I will go back again. There is no in-room coffee, which would have been nice.

During my stay at Motel 6
The place is really loud and is probably caused by the heater. The bedsheets have stains on it. The TV table is not clean and sticking.

A Place to Rest
The Motel 6 was comfortable, the room seemed to be remolded with some new fixtures. The room did not seem crowded. The vanity area was spacious and seperate from the bathroom. The location was OK, there was a grocery store next door which was nice. The location seemed to be OK.
