Winter Conference
Monterey and Carmel are magical times to attend some great yogi and spiritual retreats that go on year round here. As someone who misses the coast very much, the Monterey Surf Inn made me feel comfortable and welcome. The entire stay experience was simple, safe, and easy. This allowed my attention for my higher self, and plenty of contemplation for good karma :)

Short drive from hotel
Check out Trader Joes for groceries just one exit south and towards the Bay. The Monterey Surf Inn has microwave and refrigerator so if you are familiar with the frozen food case at TJs- its a match made in heaven.

Good value for the Price.
Good location and price. Room was bare minimum but clean. Needs nicer blankets but overall if you are just looking for someplace to sleep and shower-it works.
