That was ok, just for sleeping there. No problem at all but the planes that are passing very close ( near the airport). Nice price.

El Castell is central
Great location for activities and restaurants in Monterey/Carmel area. Rooms are small but clean,with big TV and WiFi. Sink faucet was weak, but the shower more than made up for it. Good value for that area.

Perfect Accommodations
The office personal checked me in, issued my room key and since I arrived a bit early, it was suggested by the nice lady in the office that I can either visit the Aquarium, Fisherman's wharf ,or Just hang around until the room was available (they were being cleaned when I arrived)... The aquarium, the Wharf, and local museums were in close proximity to the motel so I was able to sight see, shop, eat, visit the local banks, post office...... It was truly a pleasant experience.... I would HIGHLY recommend El Castell to anyone.

The Motel offers room service by Dominos Pizza... however the Dominos locations is just down the street..... Its just better to drive there =)

just OK
when I got in the room, around 10 flies were hanging around, I spent whole night killing them all, I bet some of the flies egg was left in the room, that's why there're so many of them. Breakfast doesn't provide napkins? It's a minor thing, but, it's like a no brainer.

Right off the freeway, as small as the room we had in Mission Bay, but cleaner, more comfortable, and MUCH nicer!!

Excellent value, clean and spacious
Excellent value, clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast area is a bit small but that is only a small issue. I would reccomend to anyone.
