Sometimes average is ok
the room was fine close to the pacific coast highway. We needed the car to go to Cannery Row. wry little was in this area as far as tourist attractions or restaurants. The breakfast was your standard waffle, cereal, muffin. It was ok.

Good room, good price
I routinely stay here on weekends, and the room is always clean and comfortable. I've stayed in several hotels nearby, and this is the best I've found yet in the area. They're currently undergoing renovations to the pool house and such, but the workers are quiet and courteous. It's also right next door to a nice club, close to several good restaurants, and the bus downtown has a stop right across the street that comes past about every half hour, all day long. Very convenient location.

Central location for Monterey
Located on North Freemont St. This hotel is a great centrally located spot for exploring the Monterey/Carmel/Pacific Grove areas. Rooms are clean and comfortable, with good showers. An easy walk to The Monterey Fish House, our favorite seafood restaurant.

Just what we needed.
Very accommodating. Opened the pool early for us so we could have an early morning swim before getting on with our day.

Nice room, thin blanket, no breakfast!
The room was nice and clean, but the blanket was too thin and the night was very cold... I went for breakfast at 8:30am and everything was runout... Had to go across the street and buy my breakfast....

Comfortable and Clean
I was here for 2 nights. It was clean. It's not far from anything, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The breakfast is very limited..., could be much better.

Fun Grandparents
Fun family getaway to Monterey
The kids enjoyed the pool. The beds were comfortable. A fairly short drive to the main attractions of Monterey. The breakfast area gets a little crowded when everyone is making waffles. Rooms included a microwave and a fridge.

happy go lucky 2
worst stay ever
ok i usually don't do this but for the money i paid for this room i expected for the toilet to be working it backed up every since time and was leaking, for the key to open the door to my room more than once before having to have it re programed THREE TIMES, for there not to be snot on the wall DISGUSTING, for the ironing board not to be held together with tape.... yes tape.... like i said i usually take things in stride and try not to let things get to me but this just had too many things go wrong....
