Nicely priced
Staff didn't mention how to use TV/cable combo to veiw shows at check in. Otherwise good value.

A Place to Sleep
Front office was nice. Room hap Pink walls with dark red bedspreads. Chair seats were dirty and breadfast was Costco muffins and watered down OJ. Good location and easy to find. Nice gas fireplace in the room.

Amazing quality for price!
I've booked a lot of rooms through discount sites like orbitz, this last trip definitely did not disappoint and surpassed previous stays. Great quality for the price I paid!

Small, 20 odd room hotel, surrounded by shopping mall, ocean, and all the clam chowder you can eat. Five blocks from Fishermans Warf.

Clean rooms with great amenities
The room was nice and clean.Spacious and open with plenty of room to move around.Jacuzzi tub and gas fireplace were a good feature as well!

Conveniently located. Clean Facilities
Manager was efficient and well prepared, reservation was ready when we arrived. Hotel was within walking distance of the the wharf and old town locations (10 blocks). Convenient shopping was available at the Del Monte Plaza located directly accross the street. A park with hiking and running trails were also located directly in front of the hotel and were easily accessible.

If you are not willing to walk a couple of miles it is a short drive and there is ample parking at all the Monterey city attractions.

Very quaint and pleasant place to stay
This place is on Munras Avenue, just off Hwy 1. For me, I was on business and this was a plus. Munras has a lot of hotels to choose from. Most are of this ones caliber. They are small, locally owned and all have a tidy and cozy appearance. None have an ocean view or fancy amenities. The Del Monte Mall is across the street for shopping and there is a park also. Down to the water would require a short drive or long walk (and it is a nice walk through historic Monterey). You can't go wrong with any of these Munras Avenue hotels and I've stayed at a few. This one had upgraded to granite tile bathrooms and fireplace.

Just in town for 1 night, not the greatest hotel but I was looking for a cheap stay which is what I got. All okay I guess.

Great Deal! Not too fancy, but clean
The Shower was not working well, but we did not throw a fit as we were only there for one night. The Continental Breakfast was gone by 9:00 am (!). Other than those things, very nice place. I would definitely go back, for the price.

Great Stay for the Price!
Del Monte Pines was a good hotel for a low price. We loved the fireplace in our room and slept with it on the entire night! The location was right next to a very large shopping mall with plenty of options to dine and shop. Room was clean and quiet. The place was also very close to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Make sure you take a map, however, because we got lost coming back to the hotel from that area... the streets get to be confusing at night!
