Scenic Drive - 17-mile road is about 3 miles. About 5 miles to Carmel and big sur. Our 32 rooms offer both modern comforts and convenient amenities. Each morning we provide a complimentary breakfast. Holiday family getaway

Chose this hotel strictly for the location and value. We were very pleased with the location..It was perfect walking distance ( with a 2 and 5 yr old in tow) to both the wharf and Cannery row...never took our car out of the (free)parking lot...steps away from a beach..just a great overall location.. As for the hotel/rooms yes they badly need a major remodel..ancient small TV's..old decor...but clean..the bed was extremely comfy with nice bedding and lots of pillows..very quiet and slept great.. We had a room on the 2cnd floor with a great view of the water from the balcony..also a fireplace which heated the room up fast..nice feature.. The breakfast is minimal...muffins cut in small pieces..waffles..pineapple..but just fine for our needs.. Staff was very pleasant and rooms were cleaned well.. We would come back again for the rate we payed .(less than $100) but probably not if it were much more..
