More Than Adequate For Our Needs
It met our needs for the one night we spent in Monterey. Does not have great amenities but we really did not need much. The quality of the breakfast was a welcome surprise. Would stay there again in the future.

Very enjoyable.
This was a impromptu trip to Monterey and had never stayed at this motel. We had a positive experience. Nice room with the amenities, quiet, and at a reasonable price. Would stay there again.

Overnight Vacation
I was very impressed during my stay in a king room. Went for a short overnight trip with my boyfriend and stayed here for about $100. I felt so comfortable with everything in the room. The only complaint I had was a weird humming noise that would come on and off out of nowhere--I think it was the fridge or the AC, but I only consciously noticed it twice. Breakfast was decent--fruits, cold cereals, eggs, sausage, bagels, english muffins, toast, oatmeal, muffins, and juice. It was more than I expected. The hotel is very clean. The elevator smelled a little funny, but other than that I'm happy with my stay. I would definitely stay here again on another trip to Monterey.

Quaint, small and really comfortable
This hotel was inexpensive, easy to find and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great as it is centrally located in Monterey tourist area. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee service. The hotel has been recently redecorated and it was a welcome surprise at a remarkably low price.

very reasonable
We stayed at the Deanza for 2 nights, just expecting a regular, nothing special hotel, I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was a big corner room, nice big windows, desk, sofa bed, tv, fridge, microwave. Huge bathroom. The continentel breakfast was a nice plus, cereal, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, even eggs and sausage to make egg muffins. Very nice and comfortable for 2 people. We requested a late check-out the morning we were supposed to leave due to the time change and they didn't have a problem with it even at last minute.I would definitely recommend the Deanza.

Excellent restaurant right next door, Monterey Cookhouse. Priced right, good ambiance. Must try the wood fired pulled pork pizza! Hotel has coupons for free appetizers at the front desk!

A Week in Moterey
A great location for all points around the Monterey Area. The breakfast was the usual Cereal, Rolls Coffee & Juice. We ate in our room a couple of times due to limited seating in the breakfast area. The room was very quiet except when the room above flushed the toilet. The room was our home for a week and was overall very nice.

The Monerey Aquarium is very expensive, but is very well laid out and interesting. Do not buy food in the Aquarium but get your hand stamped and eat in Cannery Row or bring a picnic lunch.

Great stay, friendly service!
We had a great stay at the Deanza. It was clean and comfortable. Only cons: no premium channels, and our room was right off the lobby, we were wakened by the screams of an unhappy child more than once. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful withall of our questions.
