Travelodge Hotel LAX Los Angeles Intl

I think the small garden sitting areas and pathways are actually nicer than the inside of the rooms. We had a room with a king bed in the rear (newer) building, which did not have a balcony or patio. Though note that some of the patios open right onto public (within the grounds) hotel walkways or pool area, so you may not have privacy. I enjoyed that it was quiet while sleeping even though a road was nearby, because a loud blower in the room drowned out noise. Also, there was no tub, shower stall only.

What I like about this hotel is that, although it is very close to LAX, it does not seem like the typical Airport Hotel. It is relaxing and pleasant. Not expensive, but does not feel 'down market'. I use it whenever I have a stop over at LAX, and I see no reason to look any farther.

it's not that great. you have to call the hotel if you want to get a ride, and wait.

We were not expecting this hotel to be so amazing. This place is worth visiting just to walk around and look at the wonderful gardens. Each unit overlooking the pool, large rooms. Very amazing for an old motel just a mile or so from LAX

Have stayed here before 8 years ago. Has not been redecorated since. Room was looking tired and shabby. Doing well on cleanliness and convenience and is still good value but will become unacceptable soon.

We stayed at this hotel over night for an 8 am flight tomorrow morning from LAX. The hotel is very close to the airport and very close to the rental car returns. We were able to walk back from E-Z rental car and the area appears to be safe. The grounds are absolutely beautifully landscaped. The not so good parts are that you have to walk a little bit with all your luggage from the parking lot to your room. Another thing is that the room we were in needed a little bit of updating. Nice and clean but the bed cover for instance did not inspire you to sit on them. Good experience, a little bit expensive for what you got...

We arrived The evening before our return flight and saw that they had a laundry room. WE washed our clothes with there overpriced powder soap and then put them in to dry. After 2 hours and putting money in the dryers 3 times our clothes were still wet. We went to the front desk and were told that maintanence would come down. After waiting for some time the maintenance guy came felt the top of dryer and said "They are working fine" After disagreeing with that he said hed be back shortly and never returned! upon returning to the front desk we saw him and he saw us and ran off. The front desk guy told us it was obvious that we overloaded the machine and it was our fault even though they were small loads! We returned to the laundry room and pulled the dryers out a little and noticed the exhaust hoses were smashed against the wall and fixed them and our clothes finally dried. I wonder how much they pay their brilliant maintanence Guy????

The hotel is value, because it is near airport, only for transit. but when we arrived, waiting for one hour, there are no shuttle bus, when we call hotel, they tell us that we should call them first. it should be mark it on the website. the room is a little small and near road, it is noise.

Pick up from LAX was easy, quick and complimentary. The staff was friendly and helpful when we asked for nearby restaurants and directions. The continental breakfast was well stocked and the area was clean. It was still a bit nippy for us to enjoy the pool, but it looked inviting. Our room was simply furnished, but clean and quiet. We were spending only a day and a half so we really wanted economy and this was perfect.

I've stayed at this hotel before and was expecting the same quality stay as before and was sadly disappointed. I was placed in the very back building and it was obvious that this buiding needed some updating and a thorough cleaning. The room smelled and looked dirty, old, and overused. It soured the whole stay at this hotel. I couldn't wait to leave the next morning. I didn't even bother to try the continental breakfast because I was worried about roaches!
