My review of The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles
Although the Westin was nice in appearance, and close to my business in town (as most are) the service and the professionalism of the staff was something one would expect from a lesser hotel. The staff also was not able to provide me with simple information, like directions to local restaurants, and nearby hotels where I was to meet colleagues. When asked to arrange a car, I was told that of course they would, when the car never showed the only response by the staff was I don't know what to tell you. I typically do not complain, but the service was jsut consistently bad across the board and clearly due to a lack of management and/or training. Also, I am a perferred guest with the chain, and that did not help my cause anymore.

A Great Hotel
The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites, Los Angeles, LOS ANGELES, CA was very very nice. The bed was nice a soft. The hotel as a whole was great.

Very Friendly; Great Amenities
The Hotel was in a great location and the shops where awesome. However, the hallways and rooms need to be upgraded. Need to replace carpet in hallways and rooms. The bathrooms are very small not able to get around in which was a standard room. The hotel has wonderful views no matter what floor due to the circulator shaped building. The resturant was awesome for dining the food was elegant prepared alittle costly but good and the service was great as well. The breakfast in the main resturant in the lobby was awesome, great food prepared. I was dissatified with the room that I got the celing tile was broken in the bathroom, so the tub was dirty. I had to move 3 times due to the rooms not prepared for me and my girlfriend which we had separate rooms her bathroom tub was peeling; not good. But overall the staff tried to accomendate me. Please be advisesd that if you jump out of your car when pulling up for valet parking, the charge as a hotel guess is $45.00 a day. Not good customer service there regarding parking But overall it was a good stay! The shops has wonderful stores inside the hotel`.

GREAT Location!
The hotel was totally great! Great location and soooo comfortable! We were walking distance to all the great places -- Museums, theatre, concerts, Staples Center. We walked everywhere and had a blast exploring LA. Easy check in and out.

This hotel staff is very customer service.The room was nice I thought the coffee pots should have been a bit cleaner, but overall I would rate the hotel on a 1-5 a 4.5 I love because it is only minutes from the downtown area, and there is a lot of shopping you could do. It cheaper to catch a cab than it is to park your vehicle.

Very nice
I was very pleased with the Westin BOnaventure. It is a HUGE place with a beautiful ground floor, including a large circular bar and lounge surrounded by fountains. Upper floors include a running track and a few pieces of fitness equipment. I noticed a much more extensive gym available for a fee. The room itself was very comfortable - one of the best hotel beds available. The only addition that would have been nice is a microwave in the room. The location is downtown and you can get many places by cab, but don't expect anything that interesting to visit right near the hotel. Personally, I was visiting USC medical center and it was about a $13 cab ride away. I would stay there again.

The Bonaventure Brewing Company is located on the 4th floor of the hotel and has a nice menu and some decent beer. I noticed many locals were hanging out there too.

The Westin Bonaventure reigns supreme in good customer service
I went to Los Angeles on business and I'm glad I stayed at the Bonaventure. It was approximately 15 minutes from the work site, which was located in the city of Rosemead. Yes, the traffic was in grid lock, yet, not in the direction I was headed. My stay at the hotel pleasantly began with a greeting by a warm and friendly hotel staff, which gave me a good first impression. I didn't care much for my initial room assignment and went back to the desk to complain. It wasn't anything serious, however, the Assistant Manager took my complaint seriously and demonstrated a true committment to the customer and dedication to his service at the Bonaventure. He went above the call of duty to provide satisfaction and to put a smile on my face. I moved to another room and enjoyed the remainder of my stay.

Lovely
Stayed one night for Garth Brooks concert. Hotel was lovely. Had an awesome dinner at LA Prime with a beautiful view of the city. Great night.

We took a taxi to Staples Center and walked back to the hotel. The walk was not only more enjoyable but it took less time than sitting in traffic.
