mother daughter trip

We arrived around midnight after a 5 hour drive so we were tired and not as alert as normal. Our room was right next to maid's closet so every morning we heard them talking, very loud in my opinion, and early. I will remember to ask for a room away from elevators and now maid closets. $35 nt/parking fee was outrageous too. I did feel that booking on your online site may not get best rooms unless we reject the room upon site. Does your contract with hotels address this?

Nice place

Nice hotel was very comfy and hospitable. The complimentary wine was a huge plus. On the 8th floor the room had nice bed with good pillows. It's a fine place to stay! The down side was the paint job in the bathroom, around the trimming. Plus there was only one note pad and a cheap quality pen. Yea when I go to a nice hotel I want a nice (at least two) and a nice hard metal pen. But overall I loved it!

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Rodeo dr. Is only a short distance from the hotel (the hotel is in Westwood) but Beverly Hills is right there. Not a thrifty place to shop but if your looking for nice threads, jewelry or a nice chronograph. Then you will love this place.

Dogs & Nude Art--No Thanks

I wish I'd known this was a "pet-friendly" hotel prior to booking--and I would have stayed elsewhere. The first room we were given smelled so bad of pet urine we couldn't stand it. The second room was better, but not great. The nude "art" throughout the room (paintings, lamp bases, etc.) gave the place just the right Hollywood trash look. I'll never stay here again.

nice hotel, good location

We were here for one night only , therefore we did not take advantage of the pool, patio, bar, etc. In any case the room was clean, nice, we loved the decor. The only negative was the almost $40 parking charge per night, which did not seem justified.

Palomar has class

Short but sweet. Excellent hotel in the middle of Westwood. Parking is a bit pricey but everything else was great. I would stay there again! Great for dog owners too.

Great hotel, with some drawbacks

Perfect decorations, perfect rooms and perfect staff. Complimentary WiFi and that's it, no water no beverages no snacks. The room doesn't have either a coffee maker or a microwave. The shampoo was used and looked ugly. The district is perfect. Overall satisfied.

Nice place to stay near Westwood

It was overall a very good experience. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The TV was very big and had an HDMI input which let me stream some Netflix on the free wifi. The fitness center was small, but that's ok.

great LA vacation

Staff was friendly, location was great, valet service was quick, wine hour made this hotel stand apart from the rest. Modern and funky vibe....I definitely will be back.

Nice hotel
