just fine
the room is small and the bathtub is small. And because it's near the airport, so it's hard to park.

Good Hotel, but Parking is Terrible
The staff were excellent and very friendly, especially at the in-hotel restaurant, where the breakfast buffet was also very good. It's hard to get a better price to stay at a Hilton than the deal I got for three nights here. The building is older, so you could hear some noise through the walls that you might not deal with in a newer building. Being next to LAX was very convenient, and it's easy enough to get from LAX to anywhere in L.A. My one complaint concerns the automated parking--it's extremely expensive for one (welcome to L.A.), and the day I checked-out, my exit pass stopped working, so I had to pay an extra $20 for the last day. I kept pushing the "Call for Assistance" button over and over, but never got any assistance either from the telecom or from a person. If you can find alternative parking arrangements or avoid parking altogether, I would. I discovered many garages nearby that offer long-term parking rates cheaper than the hotel, you just have to be willing to walk.

Short walk from hotel
Don't park at the hotel, it's extremely expensive and the garage is cramped and difficult to navigate. I discovered many garages nearby that offer long-term parking rates cheaper than the hotel, you just have to be willing to walk.

Great Value for Business Travelers.
Very good amenitites, comfort, and cleanliness that you would expect from Hilton. The staff is also very courteous and professional. The food is very good with multiple restaurants to meet both formal and casual needs. Great location for a quick in and out of LAX with easy rental car pick-up and return. The price was an excellent value for a higher end hotel. However, it is an older hotel and is out-dated. There was alot of repair and maintenance work taking place on elevators, hallways, etc. Also, might not be best choice for family vacation travel. There is very little to do in the general vicinity and public travel options to downtown are very limited. You really need a car to get around which can present challenges dealing with congested highways, etc. If I were to come back with family, I would stay downtown which is central to everthing you would want to see with plenty to do at night; shows, sporting events, theaters, great resturants, etc. However, expect to pay at least double the money to stay downtown!

Hilton Airport Hotel LAX
My reservation through Orbitz was lost but the front desk got me another equal room and fixed the mistake. The room was as good as a room next to a busy airport could be. No refrigerator in the room. The dining in the hotel was limited.

Only OK
I was in town for a funeral and the hotel was okay for the price. I would have liked a mini bar and a shower cap. I called down to the front desk 2 days in a row for a shower cap and never received one. The parking situation is ridiculous with the multiple levels of parking in the garage. For the price of parking my car should have been a lot more accessible. The bartenders were good except i was charged a different price for the same drink by three different bartenders and not one could explain the price difference. Again, okay for the price but the facility looks a lot nicer from the lobby than it really is.

Overnight stay on way to Tokyo
The LAX Hilton is slightly more than a 5-minute ride from the airport. This was of paramount importance to me since my stay was only for one night. The hotel itself is well-maintained with a grand lobby. The room was spacious, however, the bathroom was somewhat small. (I've noticed this in other Hiltons so maybe that's their standard). Overall, a pleasant experience.

Sightseeing tip:
Not Applicable
If you're only going to be in LA for a short period of time, and have never visited the city, I recommend signing up for a half-day sightseeing tour of the star's homes and all those places that are so familiar to us from the movies and television (e.g., Hollywood Blvd., Sunset Strip). It's a very kitschy thing to do, but you're in LA, so why not. Also, if you've rented a car, the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach are close by.
