Motel quality room
The room is quite small and looks like a motel room. The sheets and towels are worn. Parking is $20/day. The other hotels in the neighborhood are better and only a bit more expensive.

Unbeatable Location for the Price
Overnight between travels. For the price and ambience this was definitely one of the best bargains in quite a while.

Leaky roof dripped into room.
Considering that I am an SPG Gold Member, I resented the first room given me in an older section of the hotel, on the top floor with water dripping into the room from the roof. To the hotel's credit, they did change my room immediately upon complaint to a room in the newer part of the hotel.

For a wide variety of faster foods and a good supermarket, the corner of Mariposa and Sepulveda, a 6 minute drive from hotel south on Sepulveda, is terrific.

[...]Upon arrival I was charged 3 times the rate even after talking to the management. This is a big pitfall of the prepaid rate = if you need to make changes, you are screwed! I will not go back to the Four Points[...]

LAX Four Points by Sheraton
THe hotel is either new or in pretty good shape. Rooms and facilities were clean and in good working condition. Very close to the airport but with the courtesy shuttles lapping every 30-40 minutes the wait can be long, in particular when rainy weather, in the airport (where, by the way, the location of the hotel shuttles stations are very far from each other). Upon departure, we were the first ones to arrive to wait for the shuttle, and after 30 mkinute wait, and accompanied by other 20 stressed passengers, decided to pay the $8.00 for a taxi to take us.

Just so so room, but crazy parking fee!
The room is just so so which is worse than what you see in the front desk. However, they charge $19 for overnight parking even for their guest!! That's crazy since it's just a regular airport hotel. Everyday, you pay $19 just for an outdoor parking! I will never try them again!

Older, but very clean and comfortable
Comfortable and close to the Airport with prompt shuttle service. Good food in the resteraunt.

Okay but disappointed
The stay was okay. I was only there to spend the night, but I was disappointed by the room. The pictures on their site was not the room I got. Ohh well. One other thing. Watch out for the shower bar. Don't hit your head on it.
