Dunes Inn Wilshire

Good for people who wants to be near K-town. The pool was under construction, but it was too cold for the pool anyway.

Worst hotel ever, attendant was rude, room smelled bad, pool was not available. If you like over paying being mad and frustrated about the hotel you chose then this is the right one. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone

Was in town for a business conference. Check in was OK at best. Rooms had odor in them could not really determine what it was but it git you every time you came in from the outside. Asked for Iron when tried to use it on MAX heat could be held in your hand. Pool area was under construction - Construction crew started at 6:30 AM so much for guest rest. No availability to ice as it was in the pool area.

Worst hotel experience ever. Front desk manager is behind a cage with an antiquated check in system that takes forever. There were too many things unsatisfactory about this hotel to mention, but the more important point is, when I asked to speak to a manager about the problems, they told me there is no manager and they didn't know how to get a hold of the owner. Wow!...so Shady. On the following monday. I eventually found the owner at the other Hotel location, but when I started to explain my problems with the hotel, he cut me off and said: "next time, stay somewhere else" and then hung up on me. UNbelievable. In short, there is no concept of customer service. Dont stay here!

Upon arriving at the hotel, it did not appear totally run down, although the condition of the carpets and walls needed some serious TLC. We were not fussed so much with the room, however, as it was our first impression with the front desk staff who checked us in that made us feel as if we were being taken advantage of. When I checked in, the portly front desk man was rude and full of machismo (we are two young women). The second man provided me my payment documents to sign for cheap tickets. At that time, he also handed off his own documents in which I noticed a significantly cheaper price. When I asked about it, he literally pulled his documents out of my hands and said that they were his - not for me to see. I questioned this and again was adamantly refused any explanation. Without intention of disputing a price, I felt that an explanation would suffice, and actually, I probably wouldn't have even felt it was warranted if it were for his gruff refusal. Overall, the day time front desk folks made the overall place feel dodgy. Would definitely not go back!

cleanliness... to the fullest.... It was a great stay!

Air conditioners have been updated, so they are new and they work... but they are kind of noisy. The beds were so-so in comfort. You get actual keys for the room instead of a card, which is nice... no need to worry about cards not working. We paid $99 per night for a 2 queen room. It's located just outside Koreatown, a very safe neighborhood with lots of great food options close by. Parking is free! Pool was great. I'd stay here again.

This hotel was NOT a fancy hotel with all the ammenities of a regular hotel. However, it was a step up from a motel. It had clean rooms (Although when we got into our "clean room" the room had NOT been cleaned. It was a hotel mix up. They were very quick to prepare the room and within 15 minutes we were good to go. Everything in the hotel is "vintage" but the place was clean and dated. Not fancy but comfortable as a place to sleep for a few days. I would stay there again. The floor was a bit squeaky at times (again because of the age of the hotel) but overall i was pleasantly surprized for the location and price. The Location was in a safe neighborhood. I never felt unsafe walking in the neighborhood. This hotel is loated in the Korean town

Location was good. Hotel was clean and OK just to say for a night ot two for business. It is not a good hotel so spend your vacation.
